Yeah, Jack's kinda the dad. He'll kill anyone in a fraction of a heartbeat, just so his baby's okay.
Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
P-C, your tag ("Don't make me use my moon powers on you!") makes me laugh.
Hee. It makes ME laugh. It's from the "School Time Shipping" (password: KOH) chibi short for Avatar. And I don't know how funny it would be to a non-watcher, but there it is.
I have always liked Clare, but I love her more and more with each ep. What's especially striking to me is how she's taken what could be an extremely passive power, healing herself, and been active with it - punishing that football player, saving everyone (including Ted) from Ted. It's just cool.
I just rewatched - because, what an episode - and HRG at the end is definitely talking about the mind wipe when he says, "Go deep," because he immediately appends, "erase anything that could lead them to her," (paraphrase). (Edited to remove that, because then I started thinking, and I changed my mind. Maybe. Is too much.)
I feel about Claire's character the way I think some people felt about Buffy. Claire's my girl. I may be repeating myself; or maybe that was lj. I don't know. Anyway, I ♥ Claire.
I don't know how funny it would be to a non-watcher, but there it is.
Well, I have a moon, so it makes me giggle.
Hee! Yes, you do.
PC, that clip was awesome. The jabs at all the different 'ships were fabulous.
Jack Bristow. IJS
Ha! Very true. The Winchester and Bennet patriarchs seem more inclined to self-sacrifice for their children; Jack will fuck everyone *else's* shit up to keep his daughter safe.
