A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
as American TV has more commercial slots.
And BBCA has more than most, because their budgets are wee and their margins are small.
At least BBCA On Demand is free (at least through Time Warner). I switch to Cablevision next week after the move, and I have no idea what they offer in that department. Change is scary!
BBCA has not been running Doctor Who On Demand. (At least not in my area.)
Victor,
I have Torchwood eps 1-5, 8, 10, 12, and 13 on a backup disk at work. I can burn them to a DVD in avi format Monday if you don't get a better offer between now and then
.

Who's your cable provider? Because we've got Charter.
Thanks Matt. I think I have a AVI-fairy at hand for the run.
It's good to be a geek with friends.
The commentary with JP and JA was cute. . . and uninformative.
Ha, that was one of the more ridiculous commentaries I've ever watched (er, heard?). "Uh, there was something funny about when we were shooting this scene. Remember? Something weird? What was it? Do you remember? I can't remember..." "Um, I think it was really noisy." "Yeah, it was really loud on the street!" Oh, boys.
edit:
I meant to add, I've really enjoyed watching the commentaries on
The Office
episodes. I don't watch a lot of commentaries, so my sample size is small, but I think they're some of the best I've heard, both funny and informative.
Yay for victor with the
Doctor Who
love!
I just bumped into fiction whose pairings list read "Plaude and Mylar".
Don't shoot me now, shoot the author now.
Does anyone have discs of "Torchwood" I could convince them to send us?
Victor, i have all the eps burned in dvd format and would be willing to send them to you. only stipulation is i'd want them back once you're done watching them because the BBC dvds are so freakin' expensive i probably won't get around to buying them for a while. profile addy is good, if you're interested.
Okay, the episode of Dark Angel I'm watching now is pretty fun. I like the Street Sweeper character (played by the actor who plays Dwight on the Office), a lot.
Evidently, some of their discs had tracks from "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" at surprising points, which I image makes for a particularly suprising episode.
Huh? I've never done Netflix, but does Netflix get custom discs or something? Otherwise, I'd expect the whole run of season 2 would have these issues. Which I'm confuzzled by because why would BBC DVD have TTCM in their collection?
Also, welcome to the new crack.
