I've been wanting to ask this question for awhile, but I'm not sure where, and I'm not sure those that could answer it would (for spoilery reasons), but do you think we'll ever get to read about another characters perspective when they soulgaze with Harry? I'd think not, since everything's his pov, but it's still possible we'd find out verbally what they saw (which would be *really* interesting after events in Death Masks.) But perhaps storytelling-wise might be like JB shooting himself in the foot.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
We get the occaisional hints from people's reactions (Susan passes out, Agent Denton screams about hell, a certain character gets ice water dumped on her head, etc) but nothing definite. I also think (and this has been voiced on Jim's boards by others) that the gazer's own perception figures into what they see. They still see the naked truth about the person, but the imagery is dependant on the one seeing it.
Yeah, I do wonder, if anyone were to soul-gaze Harry after Dead Beat what they would see. Though the person he soul-gazes in Proven Guilty makes no mention of it, and I imagine it would be quite the question to ask. I have a feeling Harry would have to take the next step in that relationship (from DB) for his soul-gaze to change.

which is what makes me really curious, but the perspective of the books makes me doubtful that we'll ever truly know. Perhaps what is left to the imagination is the best?

she says "I didn't know" (or something to that effect), which is vague, could mean a lot of things. Things we already know Elaine, killing Justin, being involved in Susan getting turned, being tortured by various creatures,
or things we don't know as of yet

sweet!
Am I right in thinking Peter can only use one power at a time? As in, can't fly while invisible?
We shall see.
Andi thinks Peter may be becoming Superman, in essence.
It's been mentioned before he's the Anti-Sylar. Absorbing powers without the whole brain thing.
Now if he just got the Little Nicky hair lopped off.
Now if he just got the Little Nicky hair lopped off.
eh? I went to a biblical Samson place Or are we talking aesthetics?
I'm thinking that if Peter had more training, he could use multiple powers at once, but at the present, no.

Probably. Harry repeatedly says he doesn't do much soul-searching. Unless things change where he feels inclined to start, I doubt we'll find out what his soul actually "looks" like.
Some posts from Jim about Soul Gazes: [link]
Basically, according to Jim, the soul-gaze is tied to person witnessing's perceptions, but the overall impression is unchangeable beyond extremely rare circumstances.
However, looking at someone with the Sight is much more mutable and dependant on the target's current state: [link]

I'm highly amused. Murphy kicks Molly's invisible ass. And we'll get to see more Butters.
Somehow, I don't think the future is changed already. So that means that scene likely still happens. (Doesn't mean, however, that the vision's not misleading.)
The future is not set. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves.
Obviously you people have not been studying your James Cameron.
SA: While I realize that there may well be two people on the Interweb going by SA, I need to ask if you're the SA who wrote the Panther/Chief Sentinel fic. Because that series will not leave my head.
Well, I have written one TS story and have never seen any other person using my initials as a pseud, but I don't recall the story you're talking about. Link?
I'm beginning to suspect Claire's perfect long curls that drape over her shoulders are extensions as well
No, I think her hair is real, actually.
I think we're going to get a big, standoff battle between Sylar and Peter. And it will be awesome.
Now if he just got the Little Nicky hair lopped off.
well, if Sylar takes his skull off, that means that the hair will go, too, right?
Daniel! I was thinking that Peter was becoming Superman too! He was very Supes-like in this episode.
