no, the second hand moved backwards.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I think it was a wig.
that would certainly explain the badness.
Dresden: I hope they get more time/budget to get more exterior Chicago establishing shots and really make it their own.
Yes, me too! I think what I like about the show too is that I see a lot of potential in it for growth--these episodes still have the miniseries feel to it, and while that was fine, I suspect it's going to be similar to Witchblade was a few year back. It had a very distinct establishing miniseries arc, and then was green-lighted for a series, and the series took a stronger, more consistent direction than the miniseries could. Of course, I hope it doesn't end up like Witchblade, which got unceremoniously cancelled after a confusing and poor second season (though it was a rocking first season!), but I think TDF could be a good workhorse for Scifi if they just give it the funds and time slot to take off.
I think it was in one of the podcasts where Robert Wolfe said they didn't have much control over what exteriors they got, and I'm crossing my fingers that next season they can take a trip stateside :)
I hope I hope I hope that TDF are slowly picking up steam (low-key magic first few eps) and is slowly setting up to kick some serious ass down the road (meanwhile, those who didn't come for the magic will be sucked in before they realize what they're watching!). And I feel better about the really horrid werewolves after learning that they hadn't meant to air the ep so early on. They were supposed to have more time on the effects.
Oh gods, talking about next season has got me thinking about the hiatus and I pray that it isn't as long as Eureka's :(
That said, I really dig Sylar. He's a brilliant serial killer. (God, I watch too much Criminal Minds and Dexter.) Someone on a site for Heroes reviews expressed the thought that he was too boring, but I completely disagree; I think the degree to which he can assimilate and be convincing is fantastic, his purpose and drive is compelling, and the way he changes from random nice guy to killer is really well done.He really is. I mean there were times when I started to wonder if he was going to reform, just from being with Mohinder, then he'd turn the creep dial right back up.

me too!
Well, I think that what Witchblade had was a very troubled lead - and that may have led to inconsistency in the series and ultimately to it's cancellation.
Juliebird:
i The only question I can think of to ask Paul Blackthorne is, "why are there no photos of you shirtless on the entire Internet?" And I'm not going to ask that.
I'll pay you.
Reaaaally? How... much? evilly rubs hands together
SA: While I realize that there may well be two people on the Interweb going by SA, I need to ask if you're the SA who wrote the Panther/Chief Sentinel fic. Because that series will not leave my head.
It was jarring to see her with long hair; I think it was a wig.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that! I'm suspecting the actress who plays Murphy is wearing a wig, too. It's a lot fuller/thicker on top than it looks in some of her publicity photos. But maybe I'm just a suspicious person. Since I went wig shopping with my niece, I've been looking at every actress' head askance.
I wish we were getting more than 12 episodes of Dresden Files this season. But that's usual for SciFi, I guess.
But I wonder if he can use his empathy to project the healing ability elsewhere?
I was wondering the same thing. It would be kind of cool if his being a nurse affected his use of his powers (or was an unconcious expression of his as-yet untapped and even un-acquired abilities, if destiny is involved).
Zenkitty, I was just over there and started laughing so hard and worrying that I'd actually have to pay. Thank goodness I didn't specify with what!
Maybe Murphy has extensions (I'm beginning to suspect Claire's perfect long curls that drape over her shoulders are extensions as well)?
