I am the fly who dreams of the spider

oh, so it was failed blackmail?

I thought the hotel lady had copies to give to Linderman?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I hate to say this but Ando and Hiro acted totally in character.

That was pretty much my take, too. Ando also naively thought he could get away with scamming a casino.

Have we seen either of them interact with the other outside the context of a reflection before?

no.

We have, actually. It was the episode in which DL came home, after they found the dead gamblers (the ones Ando had been playing poker with). Niki slumps down with her back to the mirror in the bedroom and starts talking to Jessica, who is sitting next to her.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Didn't we see both of them in the woods, after the attempt on DL's life? There was a puddle or somesuch on the ground, but I seem to remember both of them standing there.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

You may need more exposure to the facade for the radioactive superstrength woobie rays to properly penetrate.

I think Plei's right. If you don't know Dean up to that point (Home), you can't tell that that right there is Dean cracking. And yeah, that's totally the point where half the fandom went, "Oh Dean."

Going in order worked really well for me, but if you're going all the way to DMB, you might as well do the finale sequence and IMTOD. Frankly, I'm pretty vague on the distinction between between DMB, Salvation, and DT--they all blur together for me. But I do know how DT ended. Ahem.

Skin's pretty good, although possibly better in retrospect; it's got some strong character moments, plus it's valuable backstory for later, even though it seems like a one-off. But really, there's no reason to subject Dana to all of Route 666--you could just skip everything but the nekkid!Dean.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That makes three announcements, doesn't it?

wasn't that the folded closet door?

Ain't it cool news announced the BSG renewal early, making all but an official announcement posted at the official seem slightly squirrelly to me. Apologies for posting the same info again!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

wasn't that the folded closet door?

That's what I thought, too. I didn't realize it was the mirrored door until she stood up to leave.
