The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I agree, Beverly. He showed more acting chops this ep than I thought he had.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Sam was scary tonight. I was impressed.

I wasn't bothered by Jo, except for the whole cell in one hand, flashlight in the other, no weapon to be seen instance. Because that was just dumb.

I did love how they didn't even need to show Dean stealing a car to drive to Minnesota after Sam.

Loved the motel with the salmon motif.

However, my theory that Sam cannot be possessed by a demon is now shot to hell, damnit.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Sam was scary tonight. I was impressed.

So was I, Consuela. It didn't even occur to me until halfway through the episode that, like, I should find the idea of Sam being all evil and creepy sort of laughable because, you know, SAM. But he totally pulled it off.

However, my theory that Sam cannot be possessed by a demon is now shot to hell, damnit.

Hey, what about that demon virus he was immune to? So he's immune to that but not straight-up possession? And can someone tell me why, if there are these little charms that protect against demonic possession, Sam and Dean were not carrying them from the beginning ?

The promo was fucking awesome. These are all Kripke's doing, right? Because the CW is not that creative.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sam's possession makes up for his lame drunkenness in the possessed inn episode. He was really good.

Dean was a doll, and so Samwise Gamgee it hurt.

Jo...well, at least she didn't follow Dean. Even if they'd made her the rescuer, well, Dean is allowed to not listen to Sam, but people should listen to Dean. Especially if they're not related.

Bobby rocks.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I was really impressed by Paddiwack last night. It looked like he put on 30 pounds of upper body muscle in a blink, just by how he held himself. And his facial expressions were constantly interesting. As Sam I don't find him nearly as interesting as Dean, but as Evol-demonically-possessed-Sam I find him fascinating.

One more way in which J-Pad is the new David Boreanaz. Constipated!face versus fun!Evol!face. I was very happy to see him with something other than the first one. But, yeah, whole different way of carrying himself and his voice! You could tell the difference in his voice, too. It took me by surprise and makes me wonder which voice is closer to the real one.

Art Crawl!!!

SPN: I choose to believe that Meg lied when she told Dean that she was on her own mission. I think that by trying to get Dean to kill Sam she not only messes with Dean's head - possibly taking him out of the game but also gets rid of Sam. I hope that this means that contrary to what John, Sam and Dean believe that whatever thing Sam is - it's not inherently evil.
