Hey, has anyone downloaded Croatoan from itunes? I hear that they took out the final scene!
I did, but I haven't watched it.
Book ,'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I hadn't either, but I just checked, and they did indeed leave it out.
Bastids.
Huh. Yeah.
Which would be fine, if they included the whole conversation part that Sam and Dean had before the secret reveal in Hunted instead.
But as they didn't, I'm gonna echo Lee.
The question I have from the first disc of season 1--John's still out there hunting the thing that killed his wife, so he's directing his monster/demon hunting traffice to Dean & Sam so he can concentrate on his hunt? And is this type of work supposed to sharpen the boys' skills so they can join him later? I'm assuming that's why he left them his journal.
My mind is working on why the thing that killed their mother would come back and kill Sam's GF.
I loved the Pilot and Wendigo--Dean taunting the wendigo is awesome. I recorded this week's ep and am going to start watching them while simultaneously catching up on Season 1.

Having seen what you have, Cash, I went with "it's Evil and after the Winchesters."

hmmm. I'm not sure this is the best place to do that, though I'm not sure where would be a good place. You may end up asking a lot of questions, which of course would be cool.
BTW, PBS in Chicago is going to show The Ruby in the Smoke on Masterpiece Theatre tonight -- which stars: Billie Piper.
That's done already? I had no idea.
I'd watch that.

I'm eyeballing the season pass on itunes for season 2.
Reading The Dresden Files, loving every minute of it. Realizing just how much more awesome the show would be with all the nuances/flavors/aspects existing in just the first two books. The show is like an alt universe. I think the electricity thing would have been awesome to keep. Yummy lighting by candlelight, Harry walking down a hallway and lightbulbs poofing out dramatically. Maybe more of that will come into play later on-- I don't think they've painted themselves into a corner on that matter. . . yet.
Even the books state that speaking the incantations aloud are merely a way to fine-tune the spells, and I've always found them to be silly to hear, so I don't miss that. The soul-gazing seems to be a big thing to lose, however.
And I thought the character torture in the show was fun! *starts Shallow Grave*
