When she said the bit about being all alone and she teared up

Aww man, I was watching with the 15 y.o. and when Claire said that, I heard a sharp intake of breath and I look over at my daughter and she's crying... Hayden just nailed it. That whole scene was just great.

I laughed so hard when Nathan tells Hiro to keep it down and Hiro lowers his arm to do the "flying man" thing again... I had to rewind because I missed dialog.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

As much as I love the Arms of Apollo, my BSG boyfriends remain Gaelin Tyrol and Felix Gaeta, with Karl Agathon for eye candy (Tahmoh is just too damn pretty!).

Oh, Kathy is me. Or I am she. I've been a Galen & Gaeta gal from jump. Lee who?

But I'm definitely on the Hiro bandwagon. The glimpse that Peter had of Future!Hiro on the subway gave me shivers.

"Your English is much better."

"I met a waitress. She taught me...many things."

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

. Do we know what the Haitian dude is up to with not mindwiping Claire? I feel like I've missed something.

I didn't get the impression that it was counter to Linderman, but that the Haitian thought that it was wrong to wipe Claire's memory.

SPN: a friend of mine was all "!!!!" about the tv guide description for the episode on Feb 8th. ( Born Under a Bad Sign ) - so I went and looked on TV Guide's SPN site and read the description - now I'm all "!!!!" about it.

I don't quite get that either. It was OK to wipe the memory of Claire's (non-bio) Mom, her brother, Zach, umpteen other people (most of them innocent) but when it comes time to wipe Claire he suddenly notices he is doing something wrong?

You know, I had a thought that may be totally wrongheaded, but it amused me. Maybe the reason Claire's mom is so ditzy is cause she's had one too many brainwipes. And maybe she is the bio mom. Just keeps getting important details erased.

sarameg! When I saw the promo with Claire's phone call??? I had the same thought.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm wondering if the Haitian might have some insight that makes it important that Claire keep her memories.

Maybe he's got a code where he justifies the mindwipes of the investigations, including wiping Claire's friend and brother to keep control of information, but since Claire is the central figure, he feels it isn't protecting her to wipe her own memory.

It's kind of like a bodyguard ethic, of sorts.

Hah! Yeah, that's what triggered it.

In the scene with the breaking of the billy club, it seemed like it was Nicki and not Jessica doing the breaking.

The look on her face seems to indicate that was the first time as Nicki she ever used her super strength.
