Just confined to that ep, Cindy. You caught the "time-travel" episode.
eta: mmm, xpost.
'Smile Time'
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Dear SGA, ep 3.17:
Seriously?
That's just... well. I'm a little broken.
Also, John asked Ronon if he was dating ("A woman?") "...or a man." And did we know John was married before?? You're awesome, ep 17.
And Ronon came in to comfort Rodney at the end. You're still awesome.
And I'm still sad.
Love, me.
2.) The guy who plays Ando was the bartender in the "Firefly" episode "Bushwhacked."
There was a bartender in "Bushwhacked"? When were they ever off a ship?
Croatoan is downloading from iTunes.
Huh. May be Hunted. I can't tell from here.
Yup. Hunted. Where Croatoan?
Yup. Hunted. Where Croatoan?
Not there, which is irksome, as I just finished my Crossroad Blues rewatch.
Man, again, they've been *tight* this season. The look of resigned understanding on Dean's face when George Darrow's talking about being tired, the *way* conversations read now, knowing what John told him. Gah!
I may have to flip Croatoan into iTunes readable format when I get home.

I was wondering the same thing. I doubt the Alliance cruiser had a bar on board. (But you never know.)
Bartenders that I can recall:
There was a bartender in "Bushwhacked"?
I volunteer to rewatch tonight. You know... for the good of the board.
I just watched Salvation, Devil's Trap and IMToD allinarow last night for the first time. Man, Dean's face when John tells him--
Like Plei says, it reads so differently when you know what John had to say. I wonder if they told the actors, or if it was "just make up something to react to," either because the writers hadn't decided where to go, or if they had, they didn't want spoilers getting out.
Of course, although LJ is jumping with SPN, the rest of the western world seems largely oblivious. I've fallen for a cult hit again, haven't I? Great show, small, dedicated audience.
Damn.

The way everything's been written and set up (see notes in LJ, more to come), it really feels like they knew exactly where they were going. I will say that I'd be damn curious to know what the directions were for that scene!

Yeah, sadly. Damn it! But at least HJ has joined our cult.

It does. Not only does Dean's S2 characterization make sense based on it, but so does John's S1 (and earlier!). Didja see Nutty's fab post on her fic journal about John?
But at least HJ has joined our cult.
Yeah, although everyone who thought the women in S1 were just fine (despite being boring, agenda-less, and interchangeable), is going to be all validated. Even though so far as I can tell, HJ is not nearly as clued into gender issues as he appears to think he is.
