Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Oh, that’s fine. I meant “fresh” in the sense of a firm “picture” of Harry Dresden in my head. In my mind, he was a redhead, but I don’t know where I got that.

Yeah. I don't know where the redhead came from. There's a redheaded rookie cop and a redheaded FBI agent in Fool Moon, the second book. And one of Marcone's (who's not in the TV series so far, dang it) thugs in Storm Front might have been a redhead, I can't recall.

Then again, there is a character named Thomas introduced in the third book who is consistently described as being dark-haired, but I keep seeing him in my head as blond.

Paul Blackthorn looks pretty close to the Harry in my head, though his hair should be shaggier. And it's a shame they ditched the duster.

When does Dresden Files start? My Tivo's not showing it in the listings.

On the 21st. It’s in my tivo listings?

Yup. It premieres right before the new episode of BSG.

It's on my season pass, now. I'm loving my TiVo more and more every day.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Probably when Faith tortured Wes.

Yes, I know that's disturbing.

Dude, tell me about it. Actually, I think my "wow, Wes is kind of hot" switch-around came during "The Ring", with the... was it a cross-bow? Or some kind of a dart or a knife? I can't remember. Anyway, there was a scene of him being all badass and it was like scales fell off my eyes and I finally saw the light! Or something.

I long to have AD back on my TV screen. Why is he not working, why? Not that I don't watch enough TV shows already, mind you.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

but it's probably not appealing to anyone not me. I find it as addictively horrible yet strangely charming as anything I've found on ff.net.
Temptress!

What is even happening?

That's one of my most favorite games to play when I'm watching TV -- imagining which roles AD could play.

He could certainly have a new role or fill an existing role on BSG (as much as I love the cast, I'm just sayin'...).

He could have been cast as the Criminology prof. or the dean, on VM.

He could be one of the Heroes.

He would be awesome as a staff member/potential Pam-love-interest on The Office.

He could also totally do whatever Fillion (whom I love and am glad to see working) is going to do on TV's hit, Drive.

If you come up to Seattle, we can have a viewing! I promise I won't inflict Noah's Ark on you.

Snarking with Hugh Laurie on HOUSE. Patient, doctor, administrator, relative, I don't care, just as long as he gets to snark.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Cindy and Frankenbuddha are geniuses. I actually thought about AD in the Baltar role on BSG a lot. (Not that the current actor is doing a bad job...)

Because I'm a linking fool.
