Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What is even happening?

I long to have AD back on my TV screen. Why is he not working, why? Not that I don't watch enough TV shows already, mind you.

That's one of my most favorite games to play when I'm watching TV -- imagining which roles AD could play.

He could certainly have a new role or fill an existing role on BSG (as much as I love the cast, I'm just sayin'...).

He could have been cast as the Criminology prof. or the dean, on VM.

He could be one of the Heroes.

He would be awesome as a staff member/potential Pam-love-interest on The Office.

He could also totally do whatever Fillion (whom I love and am glad to see working) is going to do on TV's hit, Drive.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Temptress!

If you come up to Seattle, we can have a viewing! I promise I won't inflict Noah's Ark on you.

imagining which roles AD could play.

Snarking with Hugh Laurie on HOUSE. Patient, doctor, administrator, relative, I don't care, just as long as he gets to snark.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Cindy and Frankenbuddha are geniuses. I actually thought about AD in the Baltar role on BSG a lot. (Not that the current actor is doing a bad job...)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Shiny! I've been thinking a trip up sounded good preoffer.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Because I'm a linking fool.

Matt Roush's review of Dresden: link

(Edited to use perma-link. ETA: Which of course didn't play nice with the auto-link creator here. Trying it manually.)

I think you have to have your Tivo hooked up to broadband, but I may be incorrect about that.

yes, you do. Do you have the wireless network adapter?

I don't know why I see Harry as a redhead. I always have. Not that there's a description of him (or any other character) as such, just how I've seen him in my head.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Whenever I see posters for Dresden, I always think it's Luke Perry.

I understand that. Like I said, I keep seeing the Thomas character as blond. And I've had books where I've gone back and re-read them and when the character gets described it's at odds with how I remembered them.

Well, it doesn't help that the main image they've been using shows him with a giant, pasted-on head. One of the fans on Jim Butcher's board actually turned it into an animated bobble-head gif.
