A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Flanigan is taller and has a leaner build, whereas Browder is a little stockier by comparison. Flanigan has darker hair. Browder has blue eyes. Both play characters named John that often end up in suicidally ridiculous situations.
Teach me, Sensei, for I have much to learn.

Want Torchwood on the air in the US.
t pouts some more
Need more Whoian content.
Fay, all the Torchwood stuff needs to be white-fonted, since it's not airing in the U.S.
Is Torchwood NEVER going to air in the US?
I was trying to figure out which channel would show Torchwood and thinking about all the cuts and edits that would have to be made.
Will they sell the DVDs here without airing the show? If not, then I don't care so much who shows it or what cuts get made if I can get the original eps on DVD.
Sheesh. We're 'Mericans. We should be able to get any foreign show we want, darn it!!!
...incidentally, are you all aware that there's now
another
Doctor Who
spinoff?
The Sarah Jane Adventures,
which is going to be a kids' TV show, apparently? I know something aired around New Year's Day - I'd assumed it was a one-off, but it sounds like it may be a show in its own right...
I'm rewatchng "Bloody Mary." That is one creepy episode. It reminded my a little of "The Grudge." I think one of the reasons I like Supernatural is because, like Angel, it's got that really dark atmosphere going for it. Not just that many scenes are played in the dark, but there's always an element of horror even in the sunlit scenes. That last shot of Jess's apparition gives me chills. The music doesn't hurt either. Plus, mirrors as psychoanalysis!
So it's "watch stuff from the Tivo" week, and I just watched
Dragon Sword.
Ye gods. How much better would that movie have been if Val Kilmer and Patrick Swayze's roles were exchanged.
(Answer: not much.)
