Well, you'd better not be thinking what I think you're thinking, because my answer is the same as always — no threesomes unless it's boy-boy-girl. Or Charlize Theron.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

PC - You sold me.

Yay! I love when my pimpings posts are effective.

the general feeling at the time was Monster-Of-The-Week, but it sounds like that changed.

Yeah, there's definitely more to it than that, but I enjoy that aspect anyway.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I felt the same way about the MoW for the first 5-6 episodes, but then it grabbed me by the tear ducts (ow) and hasn't let me go.

Art Crawl!!!

I love the promo! And I hate the fact that it's not for another 12 days.

12 Days 'til new Supernatural!

And something about a BSG direct to video movie? Hmmm.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Yeah, sumi, I squeed a bit when I saw that. It makes perfect sense. Universal want to do DVD Premiere projects, but they want ones with low costs (BSG sets already available) and a built in fan base for it to be profitable. BSG is pretty much as good a test case as anybody could hope for.

Thrive to spite them

I watched Hell House and it was good! TPTB know how to bring the angst and the funny (which is important). Loved the WWBD ? exchange and also "Sweet Lord" "of the Rings!"

I'd love to see some kind of crossover fic where Andrew runs into those guys.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Suela, thanks for the link to that story. Very much.

Do we all know that Ackles was originally cast as Sam? And that only after Padelecki came on board did they tell Jensen that he'd be playing the elder brother?

Not that Jared doesn't do a wonderful job as Sam, but as I think about it, I'd really like to have seen what Ackles would have brought to the role of Sam. A lot depends on casting, though, and with Jensen as Sam, who would they have cast as Dean. When I posted this in my LJ, Plei suggested Christian Kane.

Heh. Let us all just think about that for a minute.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Heh. Let us all just think about that for a minute.
I think we're all in our bunks. Again.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Most of the people I can think of would be slightly too old, especially if you left JDM in the role of John, which of course you should.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Ackles (like Chris Malone) is one of the few actors who can pull off both types. I'd bet that Sam would have been less rough than Padelecki plays him, although that would have left a lot of room for change over time.

Yeah, the age is definitely a factor. Facially, Ackles has aged more between this year and last than he had since Smallville or DA and SPN season 1. Still hella pretty, and I actually like him better not so ethereally pretty. But any older at all, and Morgan wouldn't be believable as Dad.

I agree that Ackles' Sam would be different, less rough, as you say. So much would depend on who'd play Dean, though.

Too bad we'll never know.
