Woe to the fucking wicked.

Ackles (like Chris Malone) is one of the few actors who can pull off both types. I'd bet that Sam would have been less rough than Padelecki plays him, although that would have left a lot of room for change over time.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yeah, the age is definitely a factor. Facially, Ackles has aged more between this year and last than he had since Smallville or DA and SPN season 1. Still hella pretty, and I actually like him better not so ethereally pretty. But any older at all, and Morgan wouldn't be believable as Dad.

I agree that Ackles' Sam would be different, less rough, as you say. So much would depend on who'd play Dean, though.

Too bad we'll never know.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

There's a new "Graphic Novel" up on NBC's Heroes site. The first part of a 4-parter. It could be considered spoilery in that it introduces a new character we'll be meeting later on the show. [link]

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Plei suggested Christian Kane

Even taking ages into consideration, I can't see CK in any of this. Perhaps because I've just never been into him. I can see that he's cute and all, but he just leaves me meh.

I've finally finished all of season 2. Sad that I have to wait until Jan. 11th to have more.

Thrive to spite them

That's the cliffhanger??! It's an awesome cliffhanger but -- I don't have Season 2 yet! This is torture!

Loved the previouslies for both episodes, definitely Lord King Bad Vids.

The words are English, but... *g*

Seriously, though, Bev's exercise has shown me how little I know about the current crop of young 'uns out there acting. Clearly, I need to watch more teen shows.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Watch The OC, they need the viewers. They might actually pay you to watch if you have a Nielsen box.

Been there, done that, got over-invested in Summer's happiness and had to stop.

Twice.

I'm slowly coming back around, due to clips from this season that SA has forced on me. But none of the regular boys from any season of that would have worked as Dean.

I didn't get to watch any SPN last night. This makes me sad.

Suspect NYE is going to turn into SPN mainlining.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Plei, want to do a watch and post?

But then I'd be distracted from Winchesters by Shiny Computer Object!

I may do a post-watch post, though.
