Wait - that guy was from one of Tim's cancelled shows?
Totally didn't recognize him.
Perhaps THAT'S why Room 10 disappeared. (Tim, I mean and his cancelled shows.)
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I'd bet three Krispy Kremes that it was the lead from Strange World.
SGA: OMG! That was just so utterly fantastic. I didn't cry, but there were wavy hands like whoa when Rodney told Zelenka that he's brilliant, and then HUGGING RONON, and healing his scars, and then, OH! the reconciliation scene with John, which consisted of: "You and me, we're good, right?" "Yeah." SO MUCH LOVE. They love him! And he loves them! And they're all one big family! I can't stop smiling.
There are no glitter pens sparkly enough to express how much I love this episode.
Dekker's management de-gayed Zach.
Now Tim Kring's statement makes a lot more sense:
However, it has simply become too complicated behind the scenes to push this issue further with this particular character.
Still really annoying that it happened, but at least we know whose fault it is now.
OK, so any bets on how much bigger the Heroes audience (who apparently actually liked gay Zach) is than the audience this Sarah Connor show may pull in if it actually gets picked up by the network?
Dekker should be looking around for new management.
Yeah, what Matt said.
It really was so out of the blue -- I mean with an audience the size of the audience for Heroes you'd think if people were upset about Zach being gay we would have heard something. And did the actor change management recently? Because my understanding is that he's played unambiguously gay characters before.
I agree with Matt, too, unless Dekker's role was always supposed to be limited. I just can't figure out how management of a not-exactly-a-superstar has so much say-so. As to why they'd intervene, maybe they wanted to avoid a type-casting thing? Somewhere (probably on that after elton blog) I read that element of the part wasn't presented to him when he signed. It still seems silly in this day and age.
eta...
It's kind of amusing, considering Jack Coleman's (Mr. Bennett) role as Steven Carrington on Dynasty.
What happened to The Lost Room? I was enjoying it so much, and then the last fifteen minutes happened.
And yes, that was Tim Guinee, formerly of Strange World.
You didn't like the way it ended?
I liked it because he got his daughter back but there were still so many loose ends that you could easily have a series - you know?
I thought they raised several questions that they then completely failed to answer. Or even acknowledge that they had raised them in the first place.
