I'm a vision of hotliness, and how weird is that? Mystical comas. You know, if you can stand the horror of a higher power hijacking your mind and body so that it can give birth to itself, I really recommend 'em.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

From many many posts ago re: BSG -

Kate, you're not alone; I feel the same way about Kat. I thought the character had undeveloped potential. At the end I was actually clutching one of my cats to my chest like a stuffed animal, and she kindly allowed me to manhandle her so.

I don't necessarily think this episode was particularly well done. I don't really get Kara's thing anyway, except that she's always had it in for Kat. But damn, Kara yelling in Kat's face.? Hot hot hot like a burning thing. So thank you, Jane, for that.

Helo's title is ECO, which Answers.com says that stands for Electronic Countermeasures Officer. However, I do believe that he was a pilot in this episode.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I hear we have a new issue of the Heroes online comic this week.

It went up on Monday, I think. Not particularly interesting or revealing.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Dear Sci-Fi Channel...

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

My guess is the ECOs are trained how to fly the Raptors, in case of emergencies, but aren't good enough at it to be fulltime pilots. (Didn't Crashdown take the controls after the pilot bought it in, I think, Kobol's Last Gleaming?) In this instance, Galactica likely needed every Raptor in the air they could in order to guild the fleet through the star cluster and so the ECOs had to step up and pull pilot duty. (Plus I know the new CAG in Pegasus verifies that Apollo is Raptor qualified. So it's entirely possible a lot of Galactica's Viper pilots don't know how to fly Raptors.)

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

trained how to fly the Raptors

You know how, sometimes, your brain just has a Jurassic Park moment?

Yeah, that. Why aren't there any TV shows where we get to fly dinosaurs?? Even shows that have dinosaurs currently, I am not seeing anybody climb on their backs and fly them.

Apparently there were a couple of different Dresden promos during Lost Room.

Here's another (no idea why it plays twice in the same video): [link]

Another one:

There's another one on the Sci-Fi channel website called "24 Hours" that doesn't seem to be up on You Tube yet.

I'm disappointed they're playing up the "spooky wizard" angle and ignoring the snarky angle.

Thrive to spite them

I just finished watching SGA

EEEEE!!!!!!! I laughed. I got teary, although I didn't quite cry but it was beautiful and Rodney was so great going to everyone and he healed Ronan's scars. This was the perfect episode. It made me fall for the show and the characters again.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

how Gus's fingerprint is on the mirror if he only got involved AFTER the Objectification.

P-C, he was the janitor at the motel before the Objectification. Either not a good one, or he was in the middle of cleaning when It happened.

I'm disappointed they're playing up the "spooky wizard" angle and ignoring the snarky angle.

Well, he looks very snarky, and that's coming from someone who doesn't know the source material at all.

Right, but he said the motel only ever had nine rooms. How could he have been in room 10 if it never existed?
