A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
When he came to get her from her bedroom, I thought he came out to her.
Wow, apparently even when I figured out who everyone was, I completely missed huge chunks of obvious. OK. I often get distracted while watching because I know I can rewatch online whenever, and then I rarely do. But I will definitely rewatch that ep, and soon, because I have made parts of it up in my head, which, while fun, doesn't make for helpful discussion on my part.
Move along. Nothing to see here.
When he came to get her from her bedroom, I thought he came out to her.
Yeah, wasn't that when he made his "be true to yourself" speech? When I realized he was actually gay, he just became so much more awesome because he just loved Claire as a friend without expecting anything in return. Everything he'd done for her, gone through with her, was done sans the skeevy "but I just want you to looooove me!" (which, he wasn't doing anyway, but it's still nice doing without even the potential of that)
Is he better in those shows? I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt since this is a Skiffy mini afterall. But even for a paycheck, could he perhaps manage more than one expression (the blank stare pointedly disconcertingly at the camera 50% of the time)???
Score on Pollack's leukemia child! Why didn't they come to this agreement earlier? Why couldn't a man in Pollack's character's position be able to immediately sympathise with Kraus-Ah's character when he mentions needing to find his lost daughter?
Because they needed the
tension,
duh.
Damned contrivances.
I'll stop moaning and posting until I'm in a better mood, sowwies for the eyesore that are my posts.
eta
awesome stunt as Joe bounces off the car and onto the pavement, and Harold's? effects are pretty damned cool.
So I watched the new SGA, and sweet baby Jesus,
IT MADE ME CRY. I WEPT. LIKE A LITTLE BITCH.
Wow. I didn't know they could do that.
Wow. I didn't know they could do that.
Yes, it was very well executed.
shrift, did it start during the scene with
Rodney and Zelenka? That's where they got me. By the time they were in the infirmary scene, and Elizabeth said what she said, I was full-out clobbered.
count me among those who though Zach was crush-y for Claire because...look at her! she's adorable.
apparently my gaydar is non-existant.
