Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

Could someone link directly to the latest 2 pdf comics on the NBC site? Unfortunately, my stupidass browser renders NBC's site unnavigable.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

That makes sense too. Though I wonder what they could construct that would stop Sylar's assorted powers, but not Eden's.

Mental block that would prevent him from accessing his powers, courtesy of Haitian guy?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Dwight would immediately assume that they'd want to recruit him for the team.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Last week's PDF is here: [link]

This week's is not up yet. Since the comics tend to be a preview of the next week's episode, I'm not sure there will be a new comic this week.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

What would Dwight's power be? Aside from 'annoying'?

Thanks, Tom!

I just experimented and there is a # 11 [link]

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Dwight would immediately assume that they'd want to recruit him for the team.

That seemed a possibility, although Claire'sDadOfMystery! also seemed interesting in cutting him open and doing the sort of research they don't get to do with the ones they evidently tag and release (Matt, Ted, ikiN.) Which tells me that there's some ethical line in there, no matter how nebulous. On the whole, they don't seem to be murderers. (Although I can see where they'd make an exception in Sylar's case.)

On the other hand, I find myself wondering about Peter's vision. Did it come on its own accord? He's shown signs of a psychic link with Nathan before, but no one else, besides mimicing their powers. So was there someone around whose powers he was picking up on? Someone we couldn't see?

I presume we're meant to believe he's mimicing Radioactive!Ted's abilities there, and not being able to control them. Still, Claire's present, so one wonders how the "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" prophecy will play out.

Also, Peter's now seen the faces of everyone who's supposed to be there, many of whom by now he'll recognize (Claire, Ando, Issac, Mohander, Matt, Nathan and Simone, plus being able to infer who Hiro is.) We're still left with the question of how to connect the rest of them back to DL, Micah and ikiN. I imagine something will happen now that she's turned herself in to hook her up with Matt and Not!Marcy or Claire'sDadOfMystery!

And of course, HIRO'S GOING TO FIGHT A DINOSAUR!!! WITH THE SWORD!!!!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Of course! And if anyone in the company is going to get a superpower, I think it should be Dwight. He could have... I don't know. An X-Ray vision? Or maybe at times of stress, his hair turns into feathers and he squawks like a chicken.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Dwight should have a super-powered voice. I picture him saying "FACT", and a shockwave spreading all around him.

Heh.

Heroes renders itself nicely to crossover, doesn't it? I haven't read much fic (other than a couple of short, badly written Claire/Peter and a rather good Peter/George Clooney (!)). Hopefully this will change during the hiatus.

I also remember Yahtzee saying that the Heroes should recruit Victor Garber to the cast, and he can play a character who glowers at people, and they burst into flames.
