A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I picture him saying "FACT", and a shockwave spreading all around him.
Heh.
Heroes renders itself nicely to crossover, doesn't it? I haven't read much fic (other than a couple of short, badly written Claire/Peter and a rather good Peter/George Clooney (!)). Hopefully this will change during the hiatus.
I also remember Yahtzee saying that the Heroes should recruit Victor Garber to the cast, and he can play a character who glowers at people, and they burst into flames.
I got the impression that the explosion with Peter had something to do with being around too many heroes at once. That there were too many powers to feed off of. Is that the impression other people got?
I'm wondering, if the first "super" Peter's actually
touched
other than his brother is going to affect him more than normal....
sj, I thought it was radiation guy's power that Peter had.
It looked like power overload to me, since I didn't see Radioactive Man in the vision.
Oddly, Peter Petrelli has become one of my favorite characters, despite The Hair, and now I'm all worried about him. Why is he sick?! Even when he was around Claire, he kept coughing and looking all feverish, why wasn't he getting better around her? Did he absorb some illness in addition to healing/mind-reading powers? Was it Sylar that made him sick? Was it overdosing on all those different powers? I would love that, returning the favor for saving her life, indestructable Claire would save his, but her "I'm sorry" takes that hope away. Like Hiro asked, how do you stop a man from exploding?!
Also, as everyone in the vision is running away from him, Nathan steps up and confronts him. ??? Is Nathan the only one who can save/stop him from going nuclear?
???
!!!
Soooooo gooooood!
Two months?
*cries*
No, just 1.5 months. See? Much. better.
I LOVE Peter's hair -- it's perfect comic book hair. There was a scene in the cell where he was in profile and the forelock fell across his face in perfect comic book tufts. Love.
So, the general consensus is that Peter is undergoing overload? So his vision/nightmare at the beginning where Nathan/Sylar tells him he doesn't understand power and the vision at the end where all the Heroes are around him are related to his inability to deal with everyone being there at once?
I'm wondering, if the first "super" Peter's actually touched other than his brother is going to affect him more than normal....
He's touched them all, Theodosia. I missed when he and Matt made contact, but I'm sure they did. Someone kept track; Isaac touches his shoulder (or the other way around) before he goes and draws the rooftop scene, and he grabs Claire right before he plummets off the school. It's all very Rogue.
So, the general consensus is that Peter is undergoing overload?
Er, this is the first I've heard of it. I've assumed he simply absorbs Radioactive Man's powers and can't control them. Power overload is interesting, although it does make me wonder again about the touching aspect.
