They are so cute. With the yelling and the getting dressed together and being joined at the hip and the CUTE.

They're like a demented cross between two rambunctious little boys and an old married couple!

Also: Ronon! And Teyla! And Elizabeth! ZELENKA.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Whereas twins can sometimes feel or sense what the other is feeling, Niki and Jessica had an even stronger psychic bond.

Entirely possible. Nathan and Peter seem to have a psychic bond that doesn't directly relate to their powers, so why not Niki and ikiN?

Also, the Nielsen ratings were on my desk when I came in this morning, as they always are on Wednesdays.

"Heroes" broke the top ten for what I believe is the first time.

A thousand times yes. John was smoking hot pretty much the entire episode. I don't think that counts as a spoiler, does it?

I hardly know how to respond to having an arcy show that I adore about people with superpowers and issues be all popular and stuff. Guess I'll go with... yay!!

Off to find SGA and my glitter glue pens...

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

It's kind of ridiculous how much I love Heroes right now. Arc! Lovable characters! The writers actually answering some questions and revealing things that are pertinent to characterization points! The unabashed comic book aesthetics! The moral grayage! It's all very joy-making.

So, I've read a few hypotheses being tossed around the LJ land as to how exactly Sylar's power works. I no longer thinks he "eats" (ew) the brains of the supers he kills -- that seems to be too crude for the guy we met in the latest episode (and really, doesn't make a lot of sense... err, insofar as any of this stuff could be sense-making.) The theory I liked the most is that he just has an intrinsic understanding of *how things work* and the precise mechanism through which a functioning unit (be it a watch or a human brain) could be out of the norm, or "broken". But he needs to observe the object in question closely in order to figure out how, ergo the killing and the taking out of the brains.

He's like a weird mixture of Micah and Peter. In fact, Katie and I were talking about the similarity in end result (if not the mechanism) of Peter and Sylar's powers, and the fact that these two even look a little bit like each other. I wonder... if Sylar is somehow able to observe the brain of another person with ability without killing him/her (through some sophisticated imaging process), could he take on that person's power without killing? And what if Peter kills the person as he's borrowing his/her powers? Will the ability be his permenantly?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Peter and Sylar's powers, and the fact that these two even look a little bit like each other.

The first power we saw from Peter was flying, and Sylar looks and dresses like Clark Kent. Definitely some kind of mirror-thing going on there.

Okay, I have now heard more livejournal squeeing from slash fans over the most recent SGA episode than anything since the Angel series finale, so I'm throwing professionalism out the window and aheming.
