Aren't they something. They're like butterflies, or little pieces of wrapping paper blowing around.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

On 23 November 1963 was the start of a brave new world - Doctor Who premiered, and dust bunnies were no longer alone behind their sofas.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Colin, if you happen to read this, my aunt Katherine said "Oh, he's cute!" when we were watching after thanksgiving lunch.

So you have the 70+ year old vote.

I know that Eugenia would enthusiastically second that.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

But no Doctor Who Friday - at least not around here. SciFi is doing a movie marathon and making us wait for the second half of the one we saw last week.

Waah! My diamond shoes are too tight!

What is even happening?

Darn. I wish I'd known about the marathon. I wanted to catch up. I'm not making the most of my TiVo. I don't deserve it. But touch it, and I'll kill you with ita's pinky.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I promised Hubs I'd ask, because I'm sure someone around here will know.

Is SciFi planning a new season of Stargate Atlantis? If so, when will it start?

They still have a second half of the third season to play out. But for what it's worth, I came across a casting spoiler for the fourth season which would seem to indicate that plans are afoot.

Thanks, Theodosia.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Last report on the second half of third season was that it would be back on Sc-Fi around March.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Heh. I just saw Erick Avari (Professor Suresh) playing a taxi driver on an old Seinfeld.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

DX ... did you know Erick Avari is "Daniel Jackson's" father-in-law on Stargate/Stargate SG-1? He's one of those actors I've come to look for in shows and movies. He followed up his Stargate appearance, with a neat bit-part in Independence Day. Didn't see him in Day After Tomorrow, though.
