A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

I'm planning ahead:

Supernatural is running an episode on Thanksgiving Day!

BSG is not running an episode that weekend and neither is Doctor Who. It looks like Doctor Who's season finale is on December 22nd but The Christmas Invasion is going to be repeated on Christmas Day.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

He's way too high profile for a fledging show like this one.

I saw that rumor a week or so ago, but when I investigated further, most sources I found seemed to think it was a hoax.

Supernatural is running an episode on Thanksgiving Day!

Oh, great. Now I have to check to see if my parents get CW and then come up with a compelling reason to commandeer the TV.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

To get Claire off his back. I don't think he wants Claire to meet them. I think that he wants to meet them. There's also the question of who's bankrolling him. Lindermann? That might explain why it was so easy for Daddy to get into the hotel to grab Nathan.

I suspect he's already found them. Probably years ago, when he was first looking. I think Claire's powers are what started him off on his quest of clandestine tattooing.

So... Torchwood ep 4. Did anyone see it? I just watched it last night.

It was one of those kinds of episodes which I quite enjoyed as I was watching, but which wasn't so great in retrospect, mainly because of the GAPING PLOT HOLES. But I like Ianto, and am glad he got a little more screen time than usual .

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So... Torchwood ep 4. Did anyone see it?

I saw it, but the show still isn't doing it for me.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Fiona--I thought 104 was particularly impressive in taking what everyone assumed would be a quiet secondary character and really packing a dramatic and emotional punch. I liked how they tied directly in with DW series two, like they automatically expected you to know the true tradgedy of the Cybermen. The huge gaping plot holes aside, I quite like Ianto and his super-dramatic storyline, and it was nice to take the focus off of Gwen, and Gwen+Jack, for awhile.

But I still think the completely random mid-episode snogging was ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I have to agree with SA on this one. I didn't care for the ep. as much as some of the previous.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Torchwood 104:

If I closed my metaphorical eyes, I enjoyed it, but this thing where Gwen freezes in the face of danger is getting really tedious.
