A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Windsparrow:
I did notice that, and while I get that they were establishing a way to address not only his date-rape from the first episode, but also the ways in which the humans fucking around with alien tech is going to bite them all in the ass (at least, that's my spec), it felt ridiculously anvilly. Look, it's a rapist! Who now is forced to understand what it feels like to be raped!
It's not that I begrudge them
the dealing with this issue, because I don't. Frankly, I think it's kind of brave. But it's also very poorly constructed. And I have as many problems with that as I do the introduction of a rapist-main-character in the first place.
Fiona (and happy birthday again!)--
I agree and reiterate that, *especially* in Wales, and *especially* in Cardiff, the amount of violence a low-level police officer would have to deal with is extraordinarily minimal. The greatest problem would be barfights--and, from my recollection, even those rarely get out of hand. Wales is a very low-crime country, and that extends to its capital. So suddenly being exposed to a high level of violence, in *Wales*, would be terribly shocking. (Though I really do speak with no authority on that--it's just how I remember things.)
That being said,
Wales and Cardiff really are my favorite things about the show. at least, of things that are not Jack Harkness' ass.
Heroes is one of those shows that always seems to start at 10:01 instead of ten, so probably, Cindy.
Cindy -- yeah, it ran over, at least in Eastern Standard Time, perhaps they got the western feed corrected.
Theo, or SA, did you catch the last minute? I'm not sure why TiVo didn't. I'll have to extend its time on my TiVo.
I quickly switched over to live TV and was able to watch. We found out that Claire's bioparents were hired actors, and that Eden is definitely a plant working for Cheer!Dad -- she went over to visit Isaac on her own after Mohinder left to go back to India. (We'll see if that lasts....)
Sorry -- some of the above may have been before the missing minutes. I was pretty sleepy, so it's all dreamlike now.
Yeah, I ahemed it, so--the end note was Eden showing up at Isaac's door to "take him in" as Claire's dad told her to. And then we closed on a shot of Niki bleeding out on her bedroom floor and Mohinder talking about evolution and natural selection.

Oh, that's why people are talking about her being injured. Stupid running long.
All the eps have been up but Comcast's numbering is off: they counted the first two hours as 1 and went on from there.
I didn't notice she was bleeding -- I thought she'd just been knocked unconscious.
Dana, this episode ("Better Halves") is repeating on Sci-Fi on 11/3 and 11/6 at 7:00pm, Eastern.
I saw Niki lying on the floor helpless (and DL scooping a horrified Micah out of there), but saw no bleeding.
I saw Cheer Dad walk the actor-parents to the car, and Cheer Mom tell Claire about the other time they tried to find her bio parents.
I saw Eden talking to Cheer Dad. I then saw her showing up at Isaac's, right after he uncovered the insignia on one of his paintings. My recording cut out right as she was saying she was an admirer of his work.
I would not be surprised to have Niki dead until Hiro changes things.
