You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Although, I do have to admit that the look on Hiro's face when he finds out that in the future he has a sword made up for a lot of boredom.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Yeah, no real surprises this episode, other than the fact it's looking like DL is actually going to be one of the Heroes and it's looking more and more like Niki is going to be a villain. As soon as DL said he dropped out of the job and that someone who knew the plan exactly replaced him and killed his crew that it was Ikin who did it, though. So I was right about those bodies in the desert being more of her handiwork.

I was also pretty confident Claire's bio-parents were going to be actors.

Still on the fence as to whether Claire's dad is actually evil, though. I couldn't quite read his reaction to the "Save the cheerleader" revelation. I couldn't tell if he was concerned for Claire, or concerned that she was important/his evil plot might be known.

Art Crawl!!!

See, I think Claire's dad isn't evil. I may be basing this entirely on his expression after Nathan Petrelli's sonic boom though.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

My satellite switched to Jon as soon as spy neighbor chick showed up at the artist's house. Anything happen after that?

Art Crawl!!!

Huh, the Daily Show is on early where you live.

Did the stuff with Forrest putting his hand through Ikin, happen before that?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Yeah, I saw that.

I am on mountain time! Fear my frakked-up tv schedule! Local feed is same airtime as Central (late local news at 10). National feeds are Eastern (TDS at 9). These rules, however, are not always true. For this...is Mountain Time!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The same thing happened to me, Debetesse, only with the Scrubs rerun and not the Daily Show. Did NeighborSpyChick say anything other than that she was a fan?

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Shaw created his first play (Widowers Houses) in collaboration with another William Archer, who provided the plot. [Wait! It's relevant!].

After a week, Shaw mailed his partner "I've finished the first act, and have not yet begun your plot". A second letter said "I've now finished the second act, and have used up your plot. Please send more." Nobody ever collaborated with Shaw again.

And it is way past friggin time for Heroes to move to Shaw's second stage. Enough setup already!

The connection [DW-TW] is enjoyable, IMO, rather than necessary.

I agree completely, WindSparrow. And I'm intrigued enough to wonder how things (like the Doctor's hand in a bottle ) will play out. I would love them to get a Tennant cameo at some point, though I doubt that will happen, actually.

Re TW episode 3: Captain Jack can teach me to shoot anytime, thankyouverymuch. And I'm loving Gwen more and more, although she has proved that she's not immune to Torchwood-Syndrome (illicit use of alien technology for your own ends) .

I rewatched Ep1 the other night, and caught something I'd missed before - when Jack tells Gwen about the amnesia pill, he mentions "a dash of retcon". One for the fans....

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

See, I think Claire's dad isn't evil. I may be basing this entirely on his expression after Nathan Petrelli's sonic boom though.

Yeah, good or evil, he genuinely seems to think these super powers are cool, so he's not all bad. He's kind of like a sinister Hiro. (:

I'm also in the "not evil" or "not completely evil camp. Sure, he's spying on people and kidnapping them, but he's yet to actually kill any one. Doesn't mean he doesn't have an agenda, though. Note: the RNA symbol that's been popping up in various scenes, particularly as Niki's tatoo. I wonder if he's tagging them, and if the reason they didn't take Niki before is that they already had her.
