At least in the original Doctor Who, Captain Jack was not only bisexual, but also didn't limit his preference to humans. I'm not sure of the right word because I don't think "bestiality" should apply to a preference for multiple species of intelligent life forms.
With that in mind, I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised that TW would stray pretty far from the straight.
When Jack was first introduced, didn't the Doctor basically say to Rose that by the 24th century, all humans were pretty much omnisexual? (And that that's what makes humans such a successful intergalactic species -- we'll breed with anything that moves, so our genes are everywhere.)
I wish Mohinder would freaking own up, because the scepticism that was funky last week was trying my patience this week. But watching not-Jesse go back to Isaac and then finish the painting was freaking great.I'm like the Wish-verse you. It drove me nuts last week, but this week I understood, because from Mohinder's perspective, time had not stopped, and here's Peter suddenly wandering the subway, calling after some hero (Hiro).

You could see the subtle transformation it laid in Isaac, where it was suddenly validating of what he was doing and what he was experiencing. Someone else got it; and frankly, I think that's going to be the thing to pull him out of his downward spiral. Plus, it makes what was kind of a boring love triange into something far more intriguing.
SA, I don't get this "not-Jesse" reference to Peter, probably because he's already firmly established as not-Xander in my head. That said, here I completely agree with you. I wonder if Isaac saw what happened to Peter's eyes.

I think she's referring to the fact that the actor played Jess on Gilmore Girls, where he was 1000 times more annoying.
Don't remember that specifically, Jessica, but I'm not the big DW fan in the family. I'm more likely to be in the room reading while Hubs watches. It's certainly true about Captain Jack himself.

I actually don't think it'll be a problem -- Nikki's multiple personality disorder seems to me be to be a coping mechanism of sorts, and not the power itself, so synching to Nikki's power should cause Peter no issues, just like synching to Issac's didn't turn him into a heroin addict.

Mohinder or 'Plot Device' (PD) as I shall now refer to him, drives me nuts. Him and his tinkerbell accomplice. Other than that, the show is getting even better. And I missed the last ten minutes - does anyone know where to download (I couldn't find on nbc's site). I wished DL was actually Sylar. But it will be fun to have a new hiro.

Something like that, it seems. Ikkin certainly tossed that thug around.
That being said, she can either turn it on and off without realizing, or so steadfastly believes she doesn't have it in her "real" persona that she doesn't acknowledge it.
