"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm also wondering what Peter's going to do (super-power-wise) when he meets Niki. It's chilling little thought.

Especially if Nathan's around.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

SA, I don't get this "not-Jesse" reference to Peter, probably because he's already firmly established as not-Xander in my head.

I think she's referring to the fact that the actor played Jess on Gilmore Girls, where he was 1000 times more annoying.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Don't remember that specifically, Jessica, but I'm not the big DW fan in the family. I'm more likely to be in the room reading while Hubs watches. It's certainly true about Captain Jack himself.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I'm also wondering what Peter's going to do (super-power-wise) when he meets Niki. It's chilling little thought.

I actually don't think it'll be a problem -- Nikki's multiple personality disorder seems to me be to be a coping mechanism of sorts, and not the power itself, so synching to Nikki's power should cause Peter no issues, just like synching to Issac's didn't turn him into a heroin addict.

What is even happening?

What do you think her power is, Victor--super strength?

I think she's referring to the fact that the actor played Jess on Gilmore Girls, where he was 1000 times more annoying.

Oh. I haven't watched GG. Thank you, Dana.

Mohinder or 'Plot Device' (PD) as I shall now refer to him, drives me nuts. Him and his tinkerbell accomplice. Other than that, the show is getting even better. And I missed the last ten minutes - does anyone know where to download (I couldn't find on nbc's site). I wished DL was actually Sylar. But it will be fun to have a new hiro.

Something like that, it seems. Ikkin certainly tossed that thug around.

That being said, she can either turn it on and off without realizing, or so steadfastly believes she doesn't have it in her "real" persona that she doesn't acknowledge it.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

When Jack was first introduced, didn't the Doctor basically say to Rose that

Jessica, yep. I remember that scene quite well! And I'm totally thrilled that the world of Torchwood is all about the casual, unremarked-upon bisexuality. That's one thing I was really hoping for, given that Captain Jack is the main character, and I have not been disappointed. Though I agree that so far, Jack himself has been more subdued in that respect: less flirtatious, anyway, though I love all his asides about all his crazy sex adventures (canonical mpreg, people!). Anyway, I hope we'll see more of his flirty side soon enough.

As far as Torchwood is concerned, RTD is writing a slash version of Angel...

Isn't that like saying someone's writing a slash version of Queer as Folk?!?

Hee! It's true. (We do all know that RTD wrote the original UK Queer as Folk, right?)

hi, littlebug. If you're in the US, the Heroes episode can be reached from NBC's Heroes page: [link] The link for the episode itself is www.nbc.com/Video/rewind/full_episodes/?show=heroes.

If you can't get it from that direct link, if you go to the main page, and scroll down under the big picture of the whole cast, you should see, "MISS AN EPISODE? Watch the latest episode online OR a Two-Minute Replay to get caught up!"

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I think she's referring to the fact that the actor played Jess on Gilmore Girls, where he was 1000 times more annoying.

yep, this. on both counts.

Oh, I very much agree, and like the way you framed this.

Mohinder or 'Plot Device' (PD) as I shall now refer to him, drives me nuts. Him and his tinkerbell accomplice.

I hold out hope for him. I think he's going to come through, as the Prof. X of the scenario. And I like Prof. X.
