Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I wonder how many people stumbled onto Angel, became fans, and then found out about Buffy? I seem to remember one or two people who definitely preferred Angel to Buffy, and now I'm wondering the overlap of those who liked AtS better, and also found it first.

ION, Worked-an-emergency-overnight-shift typing is as likely as drunk typing to make one have pithy comments regarding a show about, aparently, geometry.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I've only seen the first couple of the recent Who, but y'all have got me interested in Captain Jack, what with all the sex talk.

Not necessarily. But as a reference it would be a good idea to watch the three or four episodes he was in in the first series.

Our wings are not tired.

Watching Captain Jack is always a good plan.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I wonder how many people stumbled onto Angel, became fans, and then found out about Buffy?

I knew about Buffy, but didn't start watching until after I got hooked by Angel.

I have Torchwood sitting at home, too. If I'd had a little more time this morning, I would have put them on my iPod so I wouldn't have to WAIT OMG.

Ah, I hope that works with my sister. She has been watching the morning Angel episodes and is hooked. I just sent her the first 2 seasons because she is watching 3. She wants it from the beginning now. Whee!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Okay, finished the first episode of Torchwood, and I agree with Fiona.

I did find it subdued, almost. But I'll keep watching, and I liked the Captain Jack revelation too.

I will have a major problem with the character who used alien technology to rape women in bars. That is not good. That is so far beyond not good as to be really, really bad. And I have no faith that it will ever be addressed.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Um, is Torchwood airing in the U.S.? Or is the discussion solely from Net-based sources?

(Hubs is a major fan of the new Who, and I'm sure he'd want to know.)

Um, is Torchwood airing in the U.S.?

not yet, but i'm sure it will if it becomes as popular as Who.

Art Crawl!!!

Sadly - not airing in North America yet.

I hope that Scifi or BBCA picks it up.
