Is it just me, or is Xena-cylon hotter than Xena?

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I realized I'm fuzzy about an aspect of the downloading of memories when Cylons die. Do all the current models of that Cylon get the memories, or just one that was grown to replace a dead one?
I think it's just the replacement, although the general facts of the dead one's experiences were probably downloaded into the Cylon database equivalent. That's why they continue to call the Caprica Six replacements "Caprica," since she's the one with the full memories/personality.
Matt, I didn't mean that he could read minds, but they've now referenced his actual name, and growing up and all that, which is a big thing to just leave out there (not that I think they wouldn't)
I think it's just the replacement too.
I like 3 better than Xena.
I just rewatched all of Season 3. Okay, it's only 4 episodes - but they are EPIC. I'm hoping that in addition to interesting things happening with the fleet (collaborators etc) we will get scenes with the Cylons. Will Six, 3 and Baltar stay on New Caprica with the Baby? Where will they live? In the tunnels of the resistance?
I'm also wondering what Anders will do now? Did you guys notice how particularly shocked Tigh, Kara and Gaeta seemed in the big reunion on Galactica scenes? I thought it was interesting that Tigh and Gaeta wound up on the same ship.
Torchwood torrents are hitting.
The new possible airdate for SGA in Canada is November 20th, unconfirmed.
As I understand it, the humanoid Cylons have individual personalities, which are what get reincarnated -- you don't get reincarnated as a generic Three, you get reincarnated as yourself.
So there are a finite number of lines per model, then?
It's never been addressed, has it? I don't see any reason why there would have to be a limit to the number of each model they can create, but maybe that's why they're so keen on perfecting biological reproduction?
[eta -- It also seems, though, like the personalities within any given line don't vary much unless they've been sent on some kind of long-term isolated mission, like Caprica, Sharon and Boomer were. So if they created another Six tomorrow, the only thing to differentiate her would be her memories.]
bastages ate my edit, now what the hell did I just say?
I'm guessing that while some models can have experiences that shape a certain personality, that it's only the Really Important Information that gets mass-distributed, not just upon downloading, but on something like a weekly/monthly update, for those in range. But perhaps some of the Cylon are beginning to cherish their individuality and refuse to share that, or it's just like I said before, and it's only the pertinent info that gets mass-distributed? It also makes sense that the Cylon on the front lines, the sleeper agents and the undercover operatives immersed in human culture start to develop certain personalities from their experiences, from what they're forced to do, the humans they interact with, whereas the Cylon in the rear, knowing only Cylon society, remain somewhat blank.
I remember vaguely a discussion of this over at TWoP regarding how much Caprica!Boomer (now Mrs. Agathon) knew of Gal!Boomer's life on Galactica in order to fool Karl.
And, interesting that Brother Cavil is explaining how painful it's getting for him to download. Is this because he's a faulty (older?) model, or are all the models experiencing this, which makes Leoben's obsession just that much more frakked up.
