We're working on the 8 day episode thing. No word yet but the guys are trying pretty hard I hear.
I think more likely we'll end up getting 7.5 days, but 8 makes so much more sense. The problem is that the decision makers don't make the TV, they pay for it. So it's hard to explain to them what that extra time gives us. To them the show got made for x, so why do x+1?
We're doing our best though. I'll keep you posted.
Good luck with getting the 8 day! Sounds like everybody, especially you (no days off, really?!?), Jaime, and Andy could use that extra day.

I was skimming earlier through the Heroes discussions. My only addition to the discussion, at 11:30 my time two days later is:

I did understand his doubts to an extent -- a kid shows up on his doorstep, claiming to have powers, but, uh, he can't really demonstrate it because maybe he has to be around other people in order to jump-start whatever his powers might be? I bet he'd have been more into it if Peter had shown up and levitated outside his door or something.

I thought you nailed it in the podcasts when you talked about limits on shooting scenes with Jordan, extra time needed for remotes, light limitations, etc. I guess if they're only hearing dollars though it's a tough sell...

I agree. The sudden over-the-top scepticism felt a bit contrived to me.

Also, after having just chased a Petrelli brother down for thinking he had powers, I would think it would be exciting as all get-out to have another Petrelli brother--one who isn't ignoring you and is actually claiming he *has* powers--show up at your door. It would have been the proverbial light at the end of the proverbial tunnel.
Not that I like saying proverbial or anything.
