Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Okay, maybe that's the problem. Thursdays are also too crowded.

But mostly, I just can't make myself care. Usually I'm crazed about being left out of fandom's next big thing, but hey, SGA's back in November (in Canada).

Heh. We both can't care about everything. I've got Supernatural covered. Except for that incest thing.

Okay, her OBC may still be around and kicking.

Original birth canal? What?

We both can't care about everything.

You make admirable effort at trying, though.

Since I don't have at-home internet access yet (this week--yay!), I haven't been watching any of the BSG video blogs at Scifi.com, but apparently the producer has a new one up. According to a TWoP poster, he says that "Alessandro Juliani doesn't care whether Gaeta is laid by man, woman, Cylon or dog as long as 'Gaeta gets his cherry popped'."

Hah!

When you're racing - it's life. Anything that comes before or after is just waiting.

Question for BSG fans: Is there commentary available for S1 101-108 anywhere? Or am I going to have to get the DVDs for that? I'm going to play catch up on BSG sometime soon but noticed that neither iTunes nor SciFi have commentary available for those eps. I always listen to commentary when it's available and want to know what route to go for S1.

Eureka Questions: Does anyone know if Eureka got a 8-day shoot schedule as had been discussed/wanted in the podcasts? For those on the east side of the Atlantic, do you have similar access as NA to iTunes or downloading the episodes (as I will be on that side of the pond for S2)?

The commentaries for the early S1 eps for BSG are on the DVDs only (well, I'm sure they're out there in the ether, too...). Don't know about the Eureka questions.

::frown:: I thought the DVDs might be my only hope for the S1 commentaries.

We're working on the 8 day episode thing. No word yet but the guys are trying pretty hard I hear.

I think more likely we'll end up getting 7.5 days, but 8 makes so much more sense. The problem is that the decision makers don't make the TV, they pay for it. So it's hard to explain to them what that extra time gives us. To them the show got made for x, so why do x+1?

We're doing our best though. I'll keep you posted.

Good luck with getting the 8 day! Sounds like everybody, especially you (no days off, really?!?), Jaime, and Andy could use that extra day.
