A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Yeah, if he's going to get a scar that's that noticeable...fun for the makeup department!
I see something across the eye . . .

Whereas I was wondering how he would react to proximity with Nikki's power(s?). I certainly hope it doesn't affect vis-a-vis his brother the same way.

I think that he'll be fine because I think that Nikki's power is inherent in her, she has just invented this alternate persona to protect herself. Once she learns to own it, she will have the power. but that's just my theory.
Really? And, usually, you're so on top of things. People have been speculating that for weeks. I was surprised they brought it to the fore so quickly. Which is becoming an increasing occurrence with this show.
I haven't been anywhere but here lately, so I missed the discussion. We've only seen him walk on air the once, and he hasn't been around anyone else other than Isaac, and being with Isaac didn't give him any unusual flashes of insight, so there just wasn't much in the way of clues.
Yeah, I'm guessing future!Hiro is from at least a couple years ahead. He needs time to learn English, learn how to use a sword (I'm thinking Hiro wouldn't carry it just for decoration) as well as learn how to go back in time to a specific time and place and freeze time as he arrives.
I'm with Vortex on Niki. I have a feeling her powers first manifested during a traumatic experience and didn't want to believe it. The combination resulted in the split in her personality.

He has all the time he needs.

He drew the rooftop scene while in the hospital. I didn't really pick up on the significance of that at first.
He has all the time he needs.
This was my thought as well, Tom. What's to prevent Hiro from going to ANYWHEN in time, learning English, learning swordplay, etc., and then coming back right when he left? The problem with this idea is that, well, why doesn't Hiro start hopping around to five weeks in the future to figure out what the hell is going on? But I wouldn't be surprised if we have an episode where Hiro...becomes SuperHiro. It's not necessary for him to be years and years in the future. Especially if this first plotline is to stop the apocalypse in five weeks. It makes more sense for him to be from around that time, since he would know what to tell Peter to stop that.
and being with Isaac didn't give him any unusual flashes of insight, so there just wasn't much in the way of clues.
you know how Isaac's eyes filmed over when he was painting Claire? If you saw the promo for next week, you see that Peter's eyes have glazed over the same way. He's like Rogue, but not so much with incapacitating people.
He has all the time he needs.
True, but I doubt he's going to find teachers willing spend years outside of linear time teaching him.

yeah, but the thing that takes time is the practice. If he seems to pick up everything perfectly the first time he tries it, he won't have any problem finding teachers.
