Captain Jack Harkness of Doctor Who (and now his own spinoff series, Torchwood) fame. The actor is Scots, even though he spent his teenage years in Joliet (my hometown--he was a year behind Andy Dick at Joliet West). The character is one of the more out-there bisexual characters on TV in recent years.

I mean, I'll agree that it's not so much that the character is a sex machine; he doesn't ooze sex so much as he simply embodies its possibility. And he's just so damn cheerful about it! He's not sleazy, is what I mean, just... he really would love to sleep with you.
