Suddenly I've regained my interest in watching Dr. Who.
And you haven't even seen him yet.

I'm surprised that it was missable. Jack may very well sub, but not his text.
ita is me, only much funnier.
Suddenly I've regained my interest in watching Dr. Who.
Yay!
I mean, I'll agree that it's not so much that the character is a sex machine; he doesn't ooze sex so much as he simply embodies its possibility. And he's just so damn cheerful about it! He's not sleazy, is what I mean, just... he really would love to sleep with you.
Didn't Amber Benson look incredible? And incredibly different, on Supernatural tonight?
just... he really would love to sleep with you.
Wrod.
Also, feeling? Mutual.
Kate, like I said, "Yes, please."
Yeah, I don't know how he does it without coming off as sleezy.
Good Supernatural. Amber was good, and different. Hopefully, this will set up interesting stuff for the rest of the season.
JACK
Ay, they've got Algy on duty. Must be
important.
DOCTOR
We've gotta get past.
ROSE
The words 'distract the guard' head in my general direction.
JACK
I don't think that'd be such a good idea.
ROSE
Don't worry... I can handle it.
JACK
I've got to know Algy quite well since I've been in town. Trust me.
You're not his type. I'll distract him.
[He begins to walk away]
JACK
Don't wait up.
[And off he goes. Rose and the Doctor look at each other]
DOCTOR
Relax, he's a 51st century guy. He's just a bit more flexible when
it comes to dancing.
ROSE
How flexible?
DOCTOR
Well, by his time, you lot have spread out across half the galaxy.
ROSE
Meaning?
DOCTOR [grinning]
So many species, so little time...
ROSE
What, that's what we do when we get out there? That's our mission? We seek new life, and... and...
DOCTOR
Dance.

In Smallville news: I wonder if, when Clark and Oliver Queen share the screen, the sheer blankness will force the scene to black?
Didn't he play Aquaman in the series that got killed? What an awful show. I wish I could get my $1.99 back from iTunes for the pilot...
(But Jimmy and Chloe are fun.)
Yeah, much needed comic relief. I loved the first few seasons of Smallville, but the cliches are really starting to wear thin. How many times are they going to hang Clark up like a crucifix to reinforce the "saviour of mankind" role? At least Lex finally told Clark he couldn't just pop into the mansion whenever he wants. Too bad the mythology meant they had to kill off John Scheider. His performances were always the most genuine.
Oh, and what's with GA's costume looking like a leather barstool seat? Suede please!
Regarding Supernatural -- isn't Dead Man's (or Deadman's, I don't know) Blood fatal to vampires? So that means Lenore is a goner, regardless of Sam and Dean suddenly getting all squishy over the new and improved strain of night life?
And I thought it was incredibly careless to leave that pissed-off hunter behind to possibly be turned into a vampire (Dean didn't stand guard over him, did he?). Because that is not one man I'd want coming up behind me in a dark alley while carrying a grudge and 2 inch long fangs.

Yup. And here I thought the guy they had playing Aquaman on Smallville was bad.
It's a shame Smallville's casting is so model-focused, acting ability be damned. Glover, Rosenbaum, O'Toole, Schneider and Mack all have talent (probably in that order). The rest of the cast is pretty hit or miss and the guest stars tend to be very miss.
Too bad the mythology meant they had to kill off John Scheider. His performances were always the most genuine.
Thing is, post-CoIE, that's not even the mythology anymore. Outside of the movies (and Smallville) Pa Kent is very much alive. They didn't have to kill him to be true to anything.
As for Supernatural, interesting episode, and the glamour shots of the Metallicar set to Back in Black amused me greatly.
Regarding Supernatural -- isn't Dead Man's (or Deadman's, I don't know) Blood fatal to vampires?
In the last episode with vamps, I'm pretty sure it paralyzed them, not killed them.
I am glad they explained them being more touchy-feely vamps after the handy killings of the first two, considering last years big thing about how tough vampires are to kill and how easily they can make you dead.
And I thought it was incredibly careless to leave that pissed-off hunter behind to possibly be turned into a vampire (Dean didn't stand guard over him, did he?). Because that is not one man I'd want coming up behind me in a dark alley while carrying a grudge and 2 inch long fangs.
Oh, I'm sure he'll be back. But I'm pretty sure Dean kept an eye on him until sunrise and all the vamps cleared out anyway.
The actress who played Gloria the Vine Monster was also in the Aquaman pilot.
Jimmy and Chloe were fun, but I can barely pay attention to SV anymore.
SPN was pretty good, but it would be better if they didn't spell everything out. I don't need to be bashed over the head with the moral grayitude.
