Yes, this was a least-favorite ep. for me - which is saying a whole hell of a lot, because I hates hates hates like Gollum hateses Bagginses the sound of the voices of some of the most popular villains, therefore I have trouble watching Daleks or Cybermen doing their thing, no matter the decade.

The "Royal Family are werewolves" was fun, and I rather liked Rose and the Doctor's whole "OMG! Werewolf!" reaction, but Rose's failure to ever manage to dress era-appropriate, and the "wait...what?" were a bit much. I found it enjoyable, but that may have been the company I had over.

the mere fact that they could have built their city in a woodland paradise a mere hop, skip, and jump away, but chose instead the Slough of Despond means that humanity is doomed.

I don't follow. I have tens of thousands of refugees from a technological society. I need them to build a frontier town, which they have absolutely no training for. Are people going to set up homesteads on uneven terrain where they will first have to clear brush, or on a comparatively flat plain with enough space to land the ships, where they can take advantage of whatever tech they can cannibalize, but are still close to the timber and water?

I don't get why the Cylons should be suspicious of Gaeta, either. The only one who has any knowledge of him is Boomer, and she's not exactly down with the takeover.

And as long as I'm disagreeing... No, it wasn't surprising that Baltar signed the execution order. I thought it was surprising that he hesitated, and that he actually considered dying rather than sign. I thought that was kinda the point.

I think that Jammer gave Cally a chance to run.

That's definitely what I assumed when watching, but msbelle's theory is approprately twisted for this show, so now I'm about 50/50.

I was hoping to come here for an explanation of how Jammer's not a Cylon, but I seem to have been the only one that went there. So no theories on why he's alive?

I like Starbuck less than I did. She's only killed him about once a month? Is she even trying?

Roslin's problem with suicide bombers is that the bombers die? That's how she pitches her fit?

Why in hell didn't Red not blow himself up when he saw Baltar wasn't there? That's why you shouldn't send the depressed on suicide missions--they lean harder on the suicide and less on the mission. Send a soldier next time, someone who's actually about the cause, not someone who needs an excuse to end his own life.

I don't suppose that Baltar pointing out that killing him for not signing the order would besmirch their clean slate would have helped any...interested he didn't try.

So everyone has to be reincarnated? Seems like a split in the 6s might be well served by not letting the Baltar-obsessed one keep coming back.

Ah, I read a theory about how Jammer could have survived over at TWOP. Can't recall which thread. (Discussions seem spread between the "Occupation" and "Precipice" threads.)

But the theory is that the bodies all around the suicide bomber take the greatest impact from the bomb and that if Jammer were not immediately next to Duck he could have survived the bombing.
