A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

HAD planned to ask if anyone knew anything about Heroes. From the imdb blurb it sounds like X Men or Mutant X, but pitched at the lycraphobic non-comic book crowd.
I'm really loving it. It's not so much like X-Men as, say, The 4400, in that it takes a more realistic, down-to-earth approach of how regular people would deal with superhuman powers.
This sounds promising:
Variety - The pickup of "Eureka" is a no-brainer, as it has performed solidly in the Nielsen ratings.
Kristen, that's a nice article to wake up to.
I've got my fingers and toes crossed on a Eureka pickup, too. Which makes typing a little bit harder, but it's worth it, you know?
Sorry, sorry! HAD planned to ask if anyone knew anything about Heroes. From the imdb blurb it sounds like X Men or Mutant X, but pitched at the lycraphobic non-comic book crowd.
Heroes is great fun. The second episode dragged a little in spots (some scenes were repeated from the first episode) but overall it was good.
There's some discussion of the first ep here:

The Scottish word is 'Ned', but I can't think of what the Northern equivalent would be
'Townie', as my Northern friends tell me.
Heroes kept my interest for the second hour, not in a way that the first hour did. Although, I still haven't caught most of the character names, except Super-Hiro, and the Flying Peretti Brothers. Oh, and Claire is the cheerleader....
We're all on the same page about what worked and what didn't.
This is as good to hear as the talk of next season.
I'll also re-afirm my enjoyment of HEROES and hope the ratings are on par with last week's (which I heard were good).
One thing that does bug about Heroes is Claire's dad and (what appears to be) his crew. On one hand they seem incredibly omniscient and adept (obtaining Claire's video tape), while at the same time adding new meaning to the term "unstealthy" (the guy in Mohinder's apartment, and taunting Mohinder in the cab).
(the guy in Mohinder's apartment, and taunting Mohinder in the cab).
That was Claire's dad, wasn't it?
