Anya: Are you stupid or something? Giles: Allow me to answer that question with a firing.

'Sleeper'

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

And the webisodes have not been aired on US TV. Is there a new policy we should take a look at?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I've seen all the post-webisode promos broadcast on the Sci-Fi channel. It seemed like half of every commercial break during Dr. Who was dedicated to BSG.

Ok- I was simply trying to help out ChiKat and her request to know if the websiodes are spoilery at all- I would call them spoliery on the extra promo content at the end, which may also be in commecials aring on the sci-fi chanel. Not trying to step on toes here...

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Webisodes would be white-fonted. It's the same as it would be for the BBC broadcasts of Doctor Who that some folks may have downloaded somehow.

Not to worry.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

So, I took the plunge and watched the first 3 webisodes. So far, there's nothing so earth shattering (for me) as to spoil, so I will continue to watch. Yay!

Also, I did jump at the end and turn them off before the S3 promos at the end. I can wait on that stuff.

No official word yet on the pick up... and bless that heartland!!!

Although Andy, Jamie and I had big meeting to day talking about season two. It's not so much an "if" as a "how many". We're all on the same page about what worked and what didn't. It was a great debriefing and prep.

I'll let you know as soon as I hear.... one more to go...

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay, yay, yay on the talks about season two!

ETA: I mean, I know we don't have a guarantee or anything, but having meetings discussing possibilities is a heck of a lot better than someone sheepishly saying, "Didn't anyone tell you..." when you try to bring the subject up.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

As I understand it, 'chav' was Gypsy slang for 'child', that became cockney slang for 'child', so before the emergence of chav culture, it was pejorative when applied to an adult. The word is loaded with a heck of a lot of racial and class connotations and when it's thrown around in a derogatory manner is quite queasy-making.

Huh. It seems to have entered into the popular lexicon while I was abroad. Or possibly just while I wasn't paying attention. The Scottish word is 'Ned', but I can't think of what the Northern equivalent would be. Um. Possibly it's redundant, inasmuchas the vasty vast majority of us ARE Chavs or Neds, and it's the middle class ones who are the picked-on minority in schools. (...er, or that could just be my issues. Carry on. Nothing to see here. Um.)

Sorry, sorry! HAD planned to ask if anyone knew anything about Heroes. From the imdb blurb it sounds like X Men or Mutant X, but pitched at the lycraphobic non-comic book crowd.

Thanks CFerg! Crossing fingers and toes and settling in for the marathon tomorrow.
