I think your safest bet (granted this comes from no foreknowledge, just making assumptions what the first episode of season 3 is going to be about) might be to watch the season premiere, and then go back and watch the webisodes to see how they got there. Or safer still, wait until after the episode ends and ask if there's anything in the webisodes that doesn't get covered in that episode and therefor could possibly be spoilery for the 2nd or 3rd ep of the season.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I've watched the first couple and have been meaning to watch the others. They do seem to give an idea of what to expect from the new season as far as the environment and the state of humanity and all, so they may be considered "spoilery" in that way, but I also feel like they're meant to really be part of the story, the way "The Christmas Invasion" bridges the two seasons of DW. Or, for a more apt comparison, the "Children in Need" special.
My way of looking at them is that they aren't spoilers--they are BSG. The PTB aren't hinging anything on you not knowing of their content. They may assume you know, they may not care either way. So I don't think there's anything to spoil.
with the webisodes, I'd read somewhere that they don't spoil anything, but add insight into why certain characters are acting the way they are once S3 starts. But if you don't watch them, you'll still get the gist of why X is angry with Y, or how this person ended up on that side of the line. And it's dealing more with the peripheral characters that you don't get to see much on the show, fleshing them out a bit more (like Jammer and Duck)

Okay good. Then I think I will watch them. I'm jonesing for some BSG since I do try really hard to remain unspoiled. But adding insight is not spoilery, IMO.
Thanks!!!
Any word on a Eureka renewal? I think I'm already starting to go into withdrawals. Last week's episode is still not up on iTunes and I was hoping to watch the last three in episode order (as opposed to air order) before the finale tomorrow night. Guess I'll just have to settle for watching the marathon.
My mom was just telling me last night that she's getting into the show. I had never mentioned it to her. So that's one non-Nielson family lovin' Eureka in the heartland!
It's like a cult hit, if you consider normal people a cult relative to the sci fi channel.
Or something.
God, that made sense in my head.
I'm assuming there's a season 2, well, because that seems the logical thing to do from here.
My sister tried watching it and got distracted.
A week or so later I get an email from her saying "He's Colin!" Despite her sudden and inexplicable obsession with BSG, she's totally not a genre fan. I knew what she meant. Colin was getting to do his stuff. Here's to him keeping getting to do so.

Totally agree! Even though last week's episode isn't up, the podcast is. What a trooper. Sick as a dog but still comes through with the goods. I loved it, phlegm and all!
For me, the best part of the podcasts has been hearing what it's like from an actor's perspective. Most of the DVD commentaries that I've listened to are by writers and directors. It's been fascinating to learn about looping, blocking and how slamming one glass of orange juice can complicate your day. I have a whole new appreciation for the craft and how it takes more than just a pretty face and the ability to memorize lines.
