That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

There's an act of parliament banning my autobiography.

Heh. Kathy, I absolutely don't mind sharing a tag with you, but I did grab that one over the weekend.

I thought both Billie Piper and David Tennant did a great job as Cassandra. Matt, what pinged you about Tennant?

I miss Nine too, but I'm liking DT much more than I thought I would. And I like this period of discovering the ways in which he's different from (and the same as) the Ninth Doctor.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Oh, well, guess I'll clear out the tagline until I hear another line that I like. Sorry about the duplication!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I was very impressed with the character jumping. I actually half-thought that they were doing voice-dubbing like they do for character switches in cartoons until Cassandra jumped into the Doctor. It totally didn't even sound like Billie Piper's voice to me when she was Cassandra and not Rose.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Matt, what pinged you about Tennant?

Some of his gestures struck me as John Cleese-esque, and I thought he chose too shrill a voice. Billie nailed that same husky, self-satisfied voice that Zoë Wanamaker used for Cassandra while keeping her own pitch.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'll just have to make the tremendous sacrifice and re-watch.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

What are the webisodes? Are they spoilery for the new season?

They're things that happened on New Caprica between the end of Season 2 and the beginning of Season 3. So I guess they could be technically considered spoilery in that the events will likely be referenced in the episodes.

ETA: Finished watching season 2 with my gf this weekend. Downloaded was interesting. I have no idea why Pegasus Six set off the nuke in Lay Down Your Burdens, other than the fact it eventually led the Cylons to them. Though why the Cylons changed their minds to live and let live, and then a year later decided "On second thought, lets rule over humanity instead" is kind of confusing. (I understand the first change of heart was due to Caprica Six and Boomer's influence, but I don't know what spawned the second.)

Loved Dean Stockwell's character, though.

Unrelated, in the final scene of LDYB II, the Chief looks incredibly Kevin Smith-like.

Hmmm...now I wonder if I want to watch them. I am a big spoilerphobe, but if the events are just peripheral, throw away events rather than what season 3 is really about, that would be okay. But, I don't want to take the chance and get spoiled.

I think your safest bet (granted this comes from no foreknowledge, just making assumptions what the first episode of season 3 is going to be about) might be to watch the season premiere, and then go back and watch the webisodes to see how they got there. Or safer still, wait until after the episode ends and ask if there's anything in the webisodes that doesn't get covered in that episode and therefor could possibly be spoilery for the 2nd or 3rd ep of the season.
