I loved the second ep as well, especially all the Cassandra bits. Loved that we were finally able to see Zoe Wanamaker in all her glory as Cassandra in real life--I first saw as Moira Henson on the first Prime Suspect movie, and have appreciated her acting ever since. The other actors that got to be Cassandra all obviously had a blast doing their best ZW imitations, too!
Oh yeah. I thought that everyone impersonating Cassandra did an amazing job.
The impersonations passed my personal acting test in that I really did believe the change in persona as "she" jumped from character to character.
So I'm enjoying the most recent Eureka podcast, and Colin, if you're reading..... your voice is not annoying. I also liked the use of the words "clusterfuck" and "kerfuffle". Next perhaps you'll find use for the word "foamy"...
I wasn't too impressed by Tennant's Cassandra, actually. But Billy Piper astounded me with how very not Rose Tyler she was being.

I thought both Billie Piper and David Tennant did a great job as Cassandra. Matt, what pinged you about Tennant?
I miss Nine too, but I'm liking DT much more than I thought I would. And I like this period of discovering the ways in which he's different from (and the same as) the Ninth Doctor.
Oh, well, guess I'll clear out the tagline until I hear another line that I like. Sorry about the duplication!
I was very impressed with the character jumping. I actually half-thought that they were doing voice-dubbing like they do for character switches in cartoons until Cassandra jumped into the Doctor. It totally didn't even sound like Billie Piper's voice to me when she was Cassandra and not Rose.
Matt, what pinged you about Tennant?
Some of his gestures struck me as John Cleese-esque, and I thought he chose too shrill a voice. Billie nailed that same husky, self-satisfied voice that Zoë Wanamaker used for Cassandra while keeping her own pitch.
I'll just have to make the tremendous sacrifice and re-watch.
