Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Don't know if I want to watch the new Nightstalker. I loved two things about the old one. One was the smart-ass. It had good one liners, and not taking itself too seriously. And yet the characters were three dimensional and there was some respect for the horror tropes. They were mocked, but with love. Also I loved how Kolchak carried around a little field that made it the forties an inch from his skin, even though everyone else was in the film was living in the seventies.

And the new nightstalker may be good in a completely different way. But I'm afraid part of me will keeps saying "but he's dressed like everybody else. And he isn't funny". And of course you can't expect a new take to have exactly the things you loved about the old one. But sometimes for an individual that can get in the way of enjoying the new version.

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, I really want to see the other half of the two-parter. I think that the series is almost done.

I can't believe that they cut to commercial WHILE the Doctor was still talking.

Yeah, didn't ahem S2. I've seen some still shots, in which he looks quite goofy.

I suppose I should say that I have seen him, but I didn't put together that he was Crouch the younger in the last HP movie until waaaaaay after the fact.

"Would you mind not farting while I'm saving the world?" - Doctor Who

Speeking of the Beeb, they also have podcast commentaries for this series up on their Doctor Who website, including the Christmas special.

Nice lead in to the new Torchwood series too.
