The window he was leaning against wasn't broken.

I just looked and again and, not only did the window next to him break, every window but the front windwshield broke. Plus, the way the frame of the car buckled, there are many other things his head could have hit during that accident.

I doubt he was buckled in. Even if he was, it's a '67 Impala. At best, the back seat has lap belts. That's not going to help his head. It might've snapped his spine, given the impact.

ETA: Heck, they didn't seem to be wearing seat belts in the front seat.

Art Crawl!!!

I agree that it's unlikely that he was wearing a seatbelt.

ION, the Nightstalker this week is, I think, the last one they showed -- you know the one with the cliffhanger and after which ABC cancelled the show.

And there is a 2 minute preview for the 1st episode of Season 3 of BSG on demand.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Well, crap. No second season for Blade. [link]

Nice promo for the Dresden Files. (Still without a date.)

Robert Wolfe said to bet on January 5th or January 12th, most-likely coming on right after Galactica.

I'm looking forward to it, but I'm still bitter about the hockey stick thing.

Art Crawl!!!

That's cool. I didn't know - or had forgotten - that Robert Wolfe was involved in it.

(The CW is advertising on Scifi. You know the CW should have their shows On Demand or on Itunes.)

Was it the same promo they showed during the Eureka premiere?

ETA: There's only a brief mention of the TV series, but there's an interview with Jim Butcher on You Tube: [link]

Don't know if I want to watch the new Nightstalker. I loved two things about the old one. One was the smart-ass. It had good one liners, and not taking itself too seriously. And yet the characters were three dimensional and there was some respect for the horror tropes. They were mocked, but with love. Also I loved how Kolchak carried around a little field that made it the forties an inch from his skin, even though everyone else was in the film was living in the seventies.

And the new nightstalker may be good in a completely different way. But I'm afraid part of me will keeps saying "but he's dressed like everybody else. And he isn't funny". And of course you can't expect a new take to have exactly the things you loved about the old one. But sometimes for an individual that can get in the way of enjoying the new version.

Oh, I really want to see the other half of the two-parter. I think that the series is almost done.

I can't believe that they cut to commercial WHILE the Doctor was still talking.

All is well that ends in pizza.

And the new nightstalker may be good in a completely different way.

Not really.
