Reason #9,187 Why I Love Dean: Uses "Swayze" As a Verb
Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
My question, though, is -- did Dean actually sit through Ghost?? I mean, not really his thing, you know? Unless he was hoping that a weepy girl is a girl whose bones are more easily jumped.
Then again, that movie came out when he was, what, 15?
There is a funny story in there, where Dean has a secret adoration for weepy girl movies, and when he is not listening to Metallica he is watching Lifetime Television for Women. This is the heretofore-unknown why he picks up women so easily: he can converse coherently about the career of Jaclyn Smith.
Yeah, the "Full-on Swayze" line was probably the best line in the show.
I can't believe that they killed off Daddy Winchester!!!
Dean was like, totally barefoot in most of this episode.
Surely, there are screencaps somewhere.
That was a good line, and as much as the thought of Dean secretly watching chick-flicks amuses me, I think it's more of an American culture thing. I'm actually hard-pressed to think of another easily-recognizable film that featured ghosts/a ghost and I've never even seen Ghost.
Not super-thrilled about the unknown alien/Kryptonian menaces unleashed on Earth, though.
I thought that was pretty cool.
As for Supernatural, I also wasn't wowed. Though I was completely annoyed with last season's cliffhanger, so that probably bled over. Dean's conversation with the reaper was interesting, though.
This was my first episode, and I thought it was kinda boring.
Wow. There was so much pay off in this episode about the family relationships.
I guess it was a bad first episode. I thought it was really good.
Yeah, I could tell that it was probably interesting if you knew the characters and their relationships.
My Tivo, despite having a Season Pass for SPN, and despite having nothing conflicting with it, did not tape SPN. I am both spoiled and annoyed.

'Suela, I think the channel change confused the machine. (I'm not kidding. This happened to someone else.)
