A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Yeah, Daniel, except for the [insert number] weeks they've been back, which is where it gets confusing.
You know what would be great (or really, really bad)? Putting the two teams together for a 2-parter or special or something. It'd be fascinating watching the writers trying to make it work.
It's possible that this is my Riley-Psychologist talking.
Someday, if I manage to get the kids in my class into the idea of reading aloud (There's some...stuff left over from last year for lots of them), I'm thinking we start with Princess Bride.
How old are your kids, Debet?
I'd love to see a SG1/SGA crossover episode before SG1 goes the way of all film. Better yet: after.

I'm just deeply happy pondering the idea of a double-team story (of course, in my head, it's probably a lot more character-y than they'd ever actually go). I think after SG-1 series wraps would be the only option, and a special would allow it without having the default of either team as primary POV.
The PB book strikes me as a little dark for kids, which is why I asked.
Little kids, certainly, but I don't think mine's issue (should they have one) would be with the darkness of it. I do see the concern, though.
Deb, you have read Martha Wilson's Retrograde stories, I hope? It's, frankly, better characterization and a more interesting plot than we'd be likely to get if they actually filmed such a crossover. Her Jack O'Neill is just perfect, and so is her Sheppard.
I haven't. I'll mark your post and do that.

I've had issues with her earlier stories in that the Atlantis folk were a little too distrustful of the cavalry despite all evidence and past experience with SG-1 (particularly on Weir's and McKay's parts). But overall it's quite good.
