Maybe that was just the baby dragon, like in Dragonslayer.
Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Are they wanting us to believe that they've killed off O'Neil?
I'm kinda wondering if the "Ancients" are more Replicators. Haven't we seen that chick before?
I was wondering that too.
Okay, actually, I thought that the promos SAID that but obviously, I wasn't paying very close attention to the promos.
Well. SGA was made of awesome tonight.
Yeah, I just assumed the "Ancients" were replicators. Maybe they're working together with the replicators who are attacking the city? Because if the SG folks had been there, they would have prepared much better for the attack, whereas the Ancients hardly did anything to defend themselves.
Tonight's SGA had some great team moments, even if they did include way more Beckett than I would have liked.
The Ancients tend to be kind of smug. On the other hand, maybe someone could have mentioned to them that the Atlantis team had been mucking around with the Replicators' programming.
I confess, I hated that episode of SGA. It was sooooo slooooooow. There were lots of loooong awkward scenes with two people standing around pretending that their dialogue had any impact. Everything everybody said was exactly what they meant, and nobody lied or did a nice plot twist or or made a gigantic, pants-down, fast-talk panic-moment mistake. The "plot thickens" Act I ender? Happened at the end of Act II.
People, nothing blew up!!
I seriously think that episode was written at the last minute to cover the fact the show didn't have enough budget for an action sequence. That's me being nice, and assuming it wasn't intended to be that boring.
Go Wishful Cheapskates! Go!
It all counts for something. It's got to.

I don't think Replicators would be able to psychically activate Atlantis' systems as if they were Ancients. More likely, we just saw the latest in a long string of examples of the Ancients' amazing foresight and resourcefulness in dealing with their scientific experiments. t /sarcasm
Ah well, at least this likely solves the depleted ZPM problem for some time to come.
