Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I noticed that, too, DX, but at least, it looked like each individual plant was burning, not like a total conflagration. Still would'a been awful warm to walk through, though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's kind of exciting liking a quirky show that seems to be doing well. And has a friend-of-the-board on it! Keeping fingers crossed.

I am leaving. You are about to explode. ~Teal'c, 'Talion'

Um, okay, delurking at last and hiding behind Consuela, for reasons which she knows. Probably 1.23 am is not the best time to make one's first post after being sort of in and out for, I think about two years? Anyway, hi, and I'm going to crawl back under the bed with the dustbunnies now.

Anyone else watching SG1? It's funny that I've missed most of the last two seasons, and yet, I know pretty much exactly what's going on.

Also, hi, fialka! Come on out and brush off those dustbunnies.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Fialka! Not that you know me under this name, but hi. I'm shrift's other half. So to speak. In the fannish way.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I want to know why fialka's ducked behind 'Suela...

I know pretty much exactly what's going on.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Greetings fialka!

That's funny about the flametrhower. It never even occurred to me.

The reality was it was 3 am and we couldn't get the plants to burn at all. They'd just go black... and yeah, the thrower was really warm. We did a couple of shots with it on and surrounded by a wall of fire (gas fed) - probably six feet of wall, 6 feet high. It gets really hot, really fast. And I'm wearing polyester with 30 lbs of propane on my back.... and then they wrapped me.

So the whole thing was CGI and with Heath my stunt double working under the crane.

Never occurred to anyone actually...

So, has no one in Cheyenne Mountain seen any Indiana Jones, or what?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I was thinking the same thing. O'Neill probably has.
