That's funny about the flametrhower. It never even occurred to me.

The reality was it was 3 am and we couldn't get the plants to burn at all. They'd just go black... and yeah, the thrower was really warm. We did a couple of shots with it on and surrounded by a wall of fire (gas fed) - probably six feet of wall, 6 feet high. It gets really hot, really fast. And I'm wearing polyester with 30 lbs of propane on my back.... and then they wrapped me.

So the whole thing was CGI and with Heath my stunt double working under the crane.

Never occurred to anyone actually...

So, has no one in Cheyenne Mountain seen any Indiana Jones, or what?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I was thinking the same thing. O'Neill probably has.

I'm trying valiantly not to be my own watch-and-post, but.... I was thinking the RDA thing in the trailer was a fakeout! Whee!

Art Crawl!!!

Fun, fun episode!

Although I thought that dragon was a bit lame.

They even had a Bridge of Khazad-Dum!

Yeah, that dragon should have been waaaaay better.

Aaaaand now I'm superimposing LotR over top of SG-1. Hrm.

My incurable curiosity has led me to read this thread though I lack cable. And damnit, now I wish I did. For Eureka. Too bad wishful cheapskates don't count towards ratings.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I want to know why fialka's ducked behind 'Suela..

Oh, Fi is my long-time fannish pal, and I told her about B.org years back but she never caved. I don't know why she's hiding behind me, though. It's not like Buffistas bite.

Much.

New SG-1 tonight! Last SG-1 for a while! :sob:

Art Crawl!!!

At least it's a fun SG-1.

The one SG-1 episode I REALLY wanted to see of today's marathon was the one I missed involving Vala's hidden memory and Cam handcuffed to the bed.

It was, of course, during the last half of this episode that all the weather weirdness happened. I suppose when SG-1 comes back in March there will be another Marathon. Of course, I probably won't be out sick that day.
