The celery was created by Man. It was created to make life easier on the Twelve Colonies. And then the day came when the celery decided to kill its masters. After a long and bloody struggle, an armistice was declared. The celery left for another world to call its own....

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

Now there's celery that looks like us?
Now there's celery that looks like us?
Yep. Tastes like us too. Or maybe chicken.
almost every show, I've been dying to know and always forget to ask: what is UP with the siren on Carter's SUV? It's like it has asthma>
"hold on... I'm coming...just need to... catch my... breath...wheeze wheeze"
(and it never fails to make me laugh, same as the delivery of the "stun gun and weedwacker" line --even though I've seen or heard that commercial three times a day for the past week.)
IIRC, there's been some major rethinking of siren noises. An intermittent bleeping with varied tones seems to get the attention better of drivers and pedestrians, because it is harder to place accurately without looking -- so people look up and it gets through to the forefront of the consciousness that there's an ambulance, police car, whatever. So the siren noise could be in line with Eureka's futuristic spin...?
Okay, the numbers took a big hit with the fall launch. I hear we dropped 1/3 to a 1.4. Ouch. That would be REALLY bad if everyone didn't expect it, but it doesn't make me feell all warm and fuzzy. Everyone expected it because of the fall launch.
So there's that.... but I hear the 11 oclock airing gained 53%. So I see what's happeneing (and would probably do the same thing) but - you know. Oh well. Here's holding our breath for next week.
Yeah, I never got the bucket thing. I always thought that he wet himself. And I hope everyone got to see this one because I really liked it.
And Juliebird, your dirty mind is right on the money. There was actually an audible laugh in the production track but I guess it got taken out... it was there at ADR.
We're gonna try to do another radio tour for next Tuesday to raise awareness and remind people.
I'm swamped with personal stuff right now so I can't go back and read as much right now but I'll get to it this weekend. Apologies.
Oh!! And they agree to post both podcasts for this week. I did one alone and then a bunch of us got together - and Jordan was there so that's a bit special for us.
Gotta go.
Just finished last night's episode and caught up here. Pretty much every has said what I was going to say. Loved the episode. Don't want Henry to leave. Jo was great, especially with the water guns. Also loved Jack's little near-whimper after Allison shut him out of the house.
Oh, and my jeep was crazy problematic. Sometimes the headlights would be on, sometimes we couldn't get them on. The driver's seat was propped up by sandbags bacause someone broke it and the lights were crazy loud - just the engine driving the lights.
But that's not uncommon for a show car. They're always Frankenstein-ed together.
Ooh, BOTH podcasts, too (two) cool! And Jordan, yay!
I also noticed that in a lot of scenes the film speed was... fast? Saving-Private-Ryanish? Anyhoo, I liked it, especially with Fargo's manic hand-gesturing and Allison and Bev's fight.
And good wank on the siren Theodosia, cuz lord knows I've almost failed to pull over cuz the siren just blended into the background noise (and my really loud music). Kinda like the red traffic lights that pulse. The siren still makes me laugh. It's just so not... intimidating :P
Do we know when Torchwood premieres?
