I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I liked that both women were able and willing to fight, and that Jack didn't seem to feel he had to treat them delicately.

absolutely. Also, loved that Jack didn't get involved till Bev whacked him in the face, and then said "NO!" like she was a naughty puppy.

I thought a lot of the camerawork was really exceptional, from the fights (great choreography), to the feel of the sheriff's station with Jo banging on the bars, and that subtely off-kilterness of a bit of fish-eye lens (or whatever it was) in the tunnel to the artifact. I noticed it once in the pilot when Taggart shoots Carter, and the camera pans up from Carter on the ground up to Tag, and the white cow looks like it's moving as the distortion plays over it. Just a little bit odd without being in-your-face and flashy *coughlikethenappingscenecough*.

So question, when Fargo missed "bucket-time", did he wet himself? Something along that line?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

There was an odd use of a wide angle lens near the end when Jack enters the room where he's tied up Allison and Beverly. There was no reason for it and it took me out of the scene.

I assumed the bucket was for withdrawal/drug reaction related vomiting.

Cute BSG pic. It's been so long since last season, I'm finding myself not very excited about it coming back. I'm pretty sure that will change as soon as I actually see a new episode, though.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm in -t's foot-stamping, no Henry leaving! corner. This was a really fun ep, there was nothing I didn't enjoy about it.

And I am so stealing the line, "When I come back I'm bringing a stun gun and a weed-whacker!" and attempting to reproduce the perfect delivery.

edited for a vowel change.

That was an excellent line - great in the ads and in context.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

So question, when Fargo missed "bucket-time", did he wet himself? Something along that line?

I thought it had something to do with bathing. Zoe mentioned people starting to smell and she was going around with a bucket of water and wash cloth.

I thought Jack said something like "before we have to start bathing them" just before the bucket line.

Was that where Allison says she wished that he'd handcuffed her and Bev to a bed, and you can't even see that he's thinking dirty thoughts? I only kinda got that when Allison tells him not to laugh, she's already embarrassed. Or maybe that's *my* dirty mind?

Also wanted to say how Henry's goodbye was nicely played, cutting over to Allison and Carter's conversation, making us think that Henry's just general background noise, and then WHAM! Well done.

*cries*

Art Crawl!!!

-t, I can't believe that the webisodes exposing the compelling story of celery in New Caprica aren't revving you up for Season 3.

I've only seen the first two webisodes, because video on my computer is herky-jerky at best. I do have access to a better computer, I should watch it on that.

In fact, I'll do that right now, since I'm thinking about it. The celery has me intrigued.
