Zoe: Captain will come up with a plan. Kaylee: That's good. Right? Zoe: Possibly you're not recalling some of his previous plans.

I have no idea about the DVD but I certainly hope that the deleted scenes are in there because ti would be fun. There are an awful lot of them. There's a lot of fun stuff that could go on that. Ed and Andy did a behind the scenes look at Ed Quinn - Rock Star/Actor. Which was pretty funny.

And that's a good question about the episode number versus airing order. I'll find that out.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ed Quinn is definitely hot. Stark in pain has an attractiveness to him.

Are there screenshot sites out there yet? Must go look.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I wonder, since she actually seemed to have some time to get through Susan and Walter Perkins, if she spilled some of the S5 espionage stuff, or if she was just dishing out their marital problems.

She was just about to start on the Perkinses when Carter ran in.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I listened to last week's podcast, which was good fun. Quinn has a lovely voice and a great sense of humor -- which I already knew about Colin -- so it was great to hear you guys bouncing off each other.

I really hope we get a DVD set with the commentaries and deleted scenes and all that. While I'm at it, I'll wish for a pony, and a second season....

Overall, I thought Purple Haze was a great episode and gave us some great character development.

The scene with Allison & Carter at her home was great. Particularly right after the door gets slammed in Carter's face.

The baseball bat scene was also really good.

I think there was a bit of a plot hole regarding Stark. I can't imagine it would've taken him all day and night to get down to Section 5 and to get to the artifact. Presumably, he would have privileges to grant access to the artifact (similar to the situation in Artifact). In addition, Allison and Carter seemed to get there pretty quickly, and they certainly don't have access to it. (OK, maybe one could aruge that Stark left things open as he went, but the timeline is still all off.)

You mean where her boobs bob straight towards the camera for an inordinately long period of time?

Haha... I was actually referring to Carter's antics through the glass, but I certainly can't say that the section you're referring to was hard on the eyes. :)

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Oh, forgot to mention in my comments that, yes, this is one of my favorite episodes so far. I'm glad you let the characters develop a bit before trying out a "Naked Time" episode (would that TNG had waited at least as long before trying it out).

IIRC, Henry's in civvies in the previews, so it certainly looks like he might be on his way out of town, or at the very least, not doing any of his 157 jobs.
