The ray was in beta. That covers a lot of sins.
We're holding over a 2. So we're stoked! - especially with the scheduling gaff.
Brilliant!
Host ,'Why We Fight'
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Rock! Great news.
Maybe the distribution of the paranoia inducing monkey beam
Not even having seen the episode, "paranoia-inducing monkey beam" is now my new favorite phrase.
Hanging in over 2! That's excellent!
Well, now that I've found where the Eureka natter is, I'll pull up a seat. I hadn't meant to get hooked on it and originally just thought, "oh, cool, it's on after Dead Like Me," but I can say--I like it, I really like it!
why do you have to be naked while doing it?
Oh, that one I know--because it's fun.
Erm... that depends on what crop we're talking about. And how much rain there's been. Corn, for instance, could be exceptionally unpleasant to bare skin, as corn stalks have been known to pierce tractor tires. Also, depends what kind of bugs hang around in it, unless they've sprayed recently, but that brings its own issues. I'm overthinking this, aren't I?

Nooo, of course not. See it more like trying to figure out future plotlines. Poor, poor Spencer.
I just finished watching a Life on Mars marathon. I ahem'd dvdrips of the show but will definitely be buying the set when it's released in R4. What a brilliant show. If you haven't seen it, I'd definitely recommend trying to watch from the first episode. Each episode does work as a stand-alone b/c of the individual plot but sub-plot of whether Sam is crazy or not, could be a bit confusing if the puzzle isn't followed from the start. The season finale was superb and I can't wait to see what happens with the next season.
I'm not holding much hope for the US remake being the same high quality.
Oh. OH, oh, tavella - thanks for the link. I'm afraid we'll have to agree to disagree on the new blue Who suit. I like it. Why Tennant's Doctor is getting a costume change after one series, I have no idea - how many years did Tom Baker go on and on with the same thing?! Unless DT and the wardrobe crew were feeling dirty after all the inquiries from squeeing fan-girls on LJ about how the brown suit's trouser's were done up.
Much as I love the 4th Doctor, David Tennant seems like he'd be much more fun to dress up, if I were working in the wardrobe department.
We're holding over a 2.
Woot!

Hm...depends on who they let handle it, I think. There are enough good American cop shows, and good American genre shows that I think it could work, maybe. There would have to be changes made, but I was skeptical about The Office when that started out, too. I'm only up to ep2 'cause I'm watching the BBCA airings (even with the unbelievably crappy reversioning...I'm just too lazy to ahem something I can let the Tivo record for me), but dayum, it's good.
